Fai un'escursione attraverso la foresta pluviale del Parco Nazionale di Tijuca con un eco-tour di 6 ore contemplando una delle viste più splendide di Rio in contrasto con la più grande foresta urbana del mondo. Accompagnato da una guida esperta, aspettati un tour emozionante pieno di natura con cascate, sorgenti, laghetti, punti panoramici e siti storici. Gli animali, in particolare le scimmie, i coati e gli uccelli, possono essere visti ovunque durante le passeggiate nel paesaggio lussureggiante e nelle cascate. La distanza percorribile a piedi è di circa 7 km, andata e ritorno, è prevalentemente in ombra, con difficoltà di difficoltà da leggera a media. Il tempo di percorrenza è di circa 4 ore a passo lento. Visita le calme e belle cascate dove ci fermiamo per il bagno e le foto. Porta con te i costumi da bagno in modo da poter sguazzare. Il lago più famoso della foresta prende il nome da un barone che perse suo figlio nella guerra del Paraguay e iniziò a visitare il luogo per isolarsi. Anche se con una storia malinconica, il posto è incredibile e vale la pena fermarsi. Troverai tartarughe, animali selvatici e tanta natura per capire perché il Barone trovava nel lago una meravigliosa oasi di pace e tranquillità! È lì che ci fermiamo per una pausa e ci godiamo gli spuntini in stile picnic.
Sulla via del ritorno al tuo hotel, dovremmo fermarci ai chioschi sulla spiaggia per sorseggiare un'acqua fredda di cocco direttamente dalla frutta, goderci il bellissimo paesaggio che la natura offre e guardare i voli di parapendio e deltaplani che decollano e sorvolano l'area.

Pick up on time. Henry drove us to the beautiful National Park and explained all about the nature and history of the place, as we explored by foot and car, at our own pace. Absolutely wonderful. Henry then deftly drove us to the airport in plenty of time for our 4.45pm flight to London. A fantastic way to end a month long holiday around South America!

What a great experience. A combination of hiking, nature walks, waterfalls, national park visitor center visits and a drive by the beautiful Botanical Gardens. Our driver, Roberto, was a wonderful host. Very knowledgeable about the different flaura and fauna and clearly had very good relationships with all park rangers. We felt very safe the entire time, saw a variety of monkeys, birds (no sloths, unfortunately!) but it was the end of winter. The weather didn’t cooperate for all the views but on a clear day I am sure the views are amazing. We had two wonderful stopping points with no clouds so can attest to the views. We were fortunate to see two hang-gliders take off from the hang-gliding deck. What an experience to see! Roberto was great. Very knowledgeable and personable. Would definitely recommend this half-day trip.

This trip is great for nature lovers and those who like to hike. We went with Henry and explored the forest and swam in the waterfalls. Some of the scenes of the jungle were spectacular, especially the tunnel which was the size of the church. Henry also arranged a picnic for us next to a waterfall which was very scenic.

Excellent tour. Beautiful views. Henry, our guide, was perfect. He knows the forest in which we hiked very well and is passionate about it. The truck was difficult at times but the views of waterfalls and the cave were breathtaking. The picnic lunch was also good. Bring lots of water as the hike lasts a few hours and it us very hot and humid.
