Questa è una via facile ma è ancora un'escursione con una differenza di altezza di 200 metri!

Qui offriamo una passeggiata circolare per lo più confortevole nella Wachau, tre brevi salite ci portano ai punti di osservazione. Con il famoso villaggio di Spitz come punto di partenza, il percorso ci conduce attraverso paesaggi terrazzati con viti e alberi da frutto alla leggendaria "Porta Rossa", dove avremo una magnifica vista di Spitz, la Montagna dei Mille Anni, il Danubio e la rovina Hinterhaus. Visiteremo tutti questi posti in seguito. Il clou del tour è la rovina Hinterhaus, un castello avventuroso del 13 ° secolo. Questa è una via facile ma è ancora un'escursione con una differenza di altezza di 200 metri! Tempo di percorrenza: 3 ore | Dislivello: 200 metri

Great host, organized pickup, day plan, etc. Very knowledgeable about all things: history, geography, agriculture, etc. Very good hike leader, pace was set appropriate for us. Trails each provided great views & rewards for the climb. Hiking thru the vineyards & then above was amazing! He was prepared & conscious of our safety at all times. He even took pic of US & points of interest & the scenary. Then forwarded to me via Dropbox. He made sure we didn't miss any of the views. Good car & good driver as well. Pickup & dropoff as planned.

An Excellent hike through beautiful rolling hills with wonderful vistas of the Danube valley, picturesque towns with vineyards and ruins of castles. The guide was superb adjusting the pace to our needs and making sure we experienced all the hike offered.

Michael was an excellent guide. Provided umbrellas since it was raining. It was a fun day hiking around the vineyards and up to the castle. I would highly recommend this hike. Michael was knowledgeable about the history of the area. We had a nice stop at the end for a snack. Great day!!!!

This was a great hike that Michael took us on! Michael is very communicative via text and email. Because we wanted to spend more time in Spitz he reconfigured our hike to meet our needs and it was amazing. This whole valley is a Unesco world heritage site and when we got there we understood why! It is truly picturesque as you walk through vineyards to view the city from above. Micheal picked us up from the meeting point (train station) right on time and we had ample time to walk around Spitz and truly enjoyed driving through the other towns of the valley. Michael took lots of pictures for us which he sent to us after we got home. They were great! Great experience!
