Arrivato al porto di Palma di Maiorca, visita le cittadine di Valldemossa e Palma con un'escursione a terra privata insieme alla guida. Ammira lo splendido mar Mediterraneo mentre percorri la costa nord-occidentale verso Valldemossa. Passeggia per questa affascinante cittadina, prendi un caffè in una delle numerose caffetterie e ammira la vista della Serra de Tramuntana, una catena montuosa patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. Fermati presso il Castello Di Bellver per goderti le splendide vedute di Palma e sgranchisciti le gambe con un tour a piedi della città. Passa accanto alla cattedrale di Santa Maria (comunemente conosciuta come La Seu), al Palazzo reale dell'Almudaina e al vecchio mercato del pesce, prima di tornare sulla nave da crociera.

Un'escursione è molto più di un semplice viaggio dal tuo hotel a Maiorca alla sede. La nostra filosofia è che ogni escursione a Maiorca dovrebbe essere un'esperienza e usiamo le migliori guide e scegliamo i migliori itinerari per assicurarci di creare esperienze indimenticabili.
Questo viaggio ci porterà prima a Valldemossa, dove potrai passeggiare per le tranquille strade acciottolate o rilassarti e goderti un caffè mentre divori una delle prelibatezze locali come la "coca de patatas" (piccolo pan di spagna a base di patate) come al a quest'ora del giorno di solito abbiamo l'affascinante città tutta per noi. Puoi unirti alla nostra guida per una rilassante passeggiata per le strade o visitare a tuo piacimento la Certosa e la famosa casa del compositore Chopin (gli ingressi non sono inclusi nel prezzo).
Avrai l'opportunità di vedere la Certosa Reale, un tempo palazzo reale e sede della confraternita dei monaci certosini. (Ingresso escluso nel prezzo) Il monastero certosino di Valldemossa, in maiorchino "la Cartoixa de Valldemossa", è stato utilizzato nel tempo per scopi diversi. Inizialmente fu la residenza del re Sancho I di Maiorca e in seguito divenne l'ex residenza reale e infine la Certosa Reale.
Qui è nata Catalina Thomàs, la santa più venerata dell'isola detta "La Beateta", nata a Valldemossa nel XVI secolo. Nella sua casa, che ora è stata trasformata in cappella, c'è una piastrella all'ingresso che rappresenta una scena della vita del primo santo di Maiorca.
Ora saremo arrivati al centro di Palma di Maiorca con la nostra guida ed è tempo di goderci una piacevole passeggiata nella "zona monumentale" dove si possono vedere molti dei luoghi d'interesse della città. Inizieremo con un tour panoramico lungo Palma Marina, ammirando le gloriose vedute del vivace porto di Palmas.
Fermati per scattare foto fuori dalla Cattedrale di Palma (La Seu) e ascolta come è stato costruito il luogo di culto cattolico romano sul sito di un'antica moschea araba. Quindi, entra per ammirare le sue vetrate circolari e le caratteristiche progettate da Gaudi. Il colorato, e spesso controverso, artista modernista ha lasciato il segno sul sito e si pensa che la sua accattivante pala d'altare sia il momento clou della cattedrale.
Passerai accanto e potrai ammirare la bellezza del Palazzo Reale dell'Almudaina, che risale al XIV secolo. È la residenza ufficiale delle Loro Maestà il Re e la Regina durante i loro soggiorni a Maiorca. Insieme alla Cattedrale di Palma, costituiscono un punto di riferimento della capitale delle Isole Baleari. Un palazzo che rispecchia gli stili artistici che si sono succeduti nella storia dell'isola.
Mentre passeggi per il bellissimo centro storico di Palma, incontrerai l'Ayuntamiento de Palma, situato nella Plaza de Cort di Palma. Fu costruito tra il 1649 e il 1680 dagli architetti Pere Bauçá, Miquel Oliver e Bartomeu Calafat. Alcuni degli elementi più notevoli della sua facciata sono il balcone con sette grandi finestre, la Rellotge d'en Figuera (Orologio Figuera) e il Banc del si no fos (Banca di se non perdi). L'edificio stesso è stato dichiarato Monumento Storico-Artistico appartenente al Tesoro Artistico Nazionale con decreto del 3 giugno 1931.
Mentre ti godi le viste mozzafiato del centro storico di Palma e dell'architettura storica, tieni d'occhio l'olivo The Cort! Questo albero unico, noto come Olivera de Cort, è stato piantato nel 1999 dalla catena montuosa di Tramuntana, come simbolo di pace e radicamento nella terra. L'Ulivo Cort si trova al centro della piazza, proprio di fronte al municipio. Nonostante il trasloco e la sua età, continua a dare frutti ogni anno.

Very nice car. A driver and a separate guide was probably not necessary. Beautiful island. We took the train back to Palma, it was a very nice ride. If it wasn't so expensive was probably 4 stars.

Regarding the guide, Camy is a fully licensed official guide accredited by the Balearic Tourism Authorities and conducts tours in English every week. Over the years she has received hundreds of excellent reviews from English-speaking clients praising both her knowledge and communication skills. While we understand that accents and speaking styles can be perceived differently by different people, your comment is certainly not representative of the feedback we normally receive. As for having both a driver and a guide, this is not an unnecessary luxury but a deliberate choice to provide a higher-quality service. Mallorca's roads, traffic and parking conditions require the driver's full attention. At the same time, the guide is there to explain the history and culture of the places visited, organise the itinerary, assist guests and ensure everything runs smoothly. Expecting one person to safely drive while simultaneously guiding a private tour would not be realistic and certainly would not improve the experience. Finally, private tours are naturally more expensive than shared excursions because the vehicle, guide and driver are dedicated exclusively to your party. Even so, our private tours are typically around 20–25% less expensive than comparable private excursions offered by many other companies in Mallorca. An incredible adventure with our wonderful guide, Jeanine Grimalt and driver Avelin (sp). We did an extensive tour of the goegeous village of Valldemossa. Jeannine's knowledge of Spanish and Mallorcan history is fantastic! We then did a lovely walking tour of Palma. Lots of beautiful sights and history of the Island. And lots of photos! We had a wonderful day touring Valldemossa and Palma with Peter. He went above and beyond to help us—our daughter had dropped her cell phone a couple of days earlier in Naples, and he kindly assisted us in finding a store to try to repair her screen. After exploring the charming streets and visiting the beautiful cathedral in Palma, we traveled in a very comfortable Mercedes Sprinter van to the picturesque village of Valldemossa. We enjoyed some free time to explore and had lunch at the most charming little tapas restaurant, dining outside under a big shade tree. Peter was incredibly kind, professional, and accommodating to our group, making the day both relaxing and memorable. We truly enjoyed our time with him and would highly recommend his tour.

Communication was great leading up to excursion. Our private van was very nice and driver was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable and looked for our feedback on what we wanted to see and do. He did an excellent job navigating away from crowds and we highly recommend Luis as a guide. Very pleased!

Our guide Luis was very good, unfortunately the weather did not let us walk around the city. We went to Valdemosa and the town was very pretty. We could not go to the cathedral because of the rain and we had to continue our tour in the bus.
