If you are in Catania, or you arrive from a cruise to the terminal, you can spend a day with us of 5 - 6 hours, for an unforgettable excursion! Driver will pick you up at the place indicated by you, even if not mentioned in the pick up list. Direction Savoca about 1 hour, famous town chosen by the director Francis ford Coppola to shoot some scenes of the famous Oscar-winning film The Godfather. Stop at the Vitelli bar for a photo and tour in the small quaint town. We will continue to Taormina, a charming town called the pearl of the Mediterranean, with its unique Greek-Roman theater, ( Entrance not Included ) the characteristic alleys, decorated with souvenirs, bars and typical Sicilian clubs. Il tour inizia con il pick up nel tuo albergo , o al terminal crociere del porto di Catania . Mettiamo a disposizione sia auto , che minivan a seconda della richiesta e del numero dei partecipanti . Il seguente tour è da considerarsi privato . Da Catania si partirà alla volta di Taormina ( 50 Km circa ) , si visiterà autonomamente il teatro greco , a piedi si proseguirà per palazzo Corvaja , il belvedere , il corso Umberto con sue viuzze caratteristiche piene di negozi tipici e souvenir . Il tour prosegue alla volta di Savoca circa 20 km , piccolo borgo arroccato , qui furono girate alcune scene del film "il padrino " di Francis Ford Coppola . In questo tour su richiesta del cliente si ha la possibilità di visitare Castelmola cittadina medievale sopra Taormina ,invece di Savoca .
Savoca è un paese dalle mille attrazioni anche se in realtà è un piccolo borgo in provincia di Messina con 1750 abitanti. Si trova arroccato sulla montagna ma offre anche tanto ai turisti che lo visitano. È bagnato dai torrenti di Agrò e Savoca ed è una cittadina d’arte inserita nel circuito de “I borghi più belli d'Italia”. In questo borgo furono girate delle scene “il Padrino”, il film di successo di Francis Ford Coppola, girato nel 1972 . Un ritorno al passato, ad un paese con poche macchine e poco caos, alle antiche costruzioni dell’epoca in pietra lavica, circondate da agrumeti, vigneti e uliveti. Sullo sfondo lo splendido Golfo di Taormina

I have been using viator for years and I have never had an experience like this. Every other tour I have ever done has been amazing and perfect in so many ways EXCEPT this one. Do not and I repeat, DO NOT book this tour. We were scheduled to be picked up in the morning and no one showed up. We tried contacting the tour operator and no response (very unprofessional). I contacted support at viator and they tried calling, emailing and messaging the tour operators multiple times and NO RESPONSE. If you're looking for a tour you can rely on this is not the tour for you.
Good morning, we have already apologized through Viator, but your reservation never arrived, so if you have someone to blame, blame Viator, not us. If you had called a couple of days in advance or sent a WhatsApp or a confirmation email since you had our contact information, we could have helped you. Technology is good for the community, but a confirmation message would have been better. We have cecked mobile and office phone , no contact from you or viator . we receive just an e mail on 30 december at 9.30 AM with refund request

The most spectacular view from our restaurant. If you are Godfather fans then you must do this trip. Such a spectacular day!!!

Taormina and Savoca was spectacular. Very beautiful and a lot of restaurants and stores to visit in Taormina and a very incredible Greek theater from old times. The guide was very good and explain in detail the highlights of what we were visiting.

Salvo was the most amazing tour guide, he taught us so much information about the region and in particular Mt Etna. He also recommended the most amazing seafood lunch destination in Taormina which had both excellent food and postcard views. The town & walk around tour of Savoca where part of the godfather was filmed was also a highlight & a place we would love to visit again.
