Escursione nei Piccoli Carpazi - Sulle tracce della gente della foresta

Vieni e unisciti a noi per un facile tour escursionistico commentato seguendo le orme del popolo della foresta Huncokárs, una comunità di lingua tedesca che viveva su entrambi i lati dei Piccoli Carpazi dal 18 ° secolo. Imparerai perché sono venuti qui, come vivevano, in cosa credevano e in cosa erano impegnati. La passeggiata si svolge nell'area forestale di Zochova Chata, il luogo di ricreazione più popolare dei Piccoli Carpazi. Imparerai alcuni fatti interessanti e qui ascolterai alcune storie accattivanti mentre ti godi la passeggiata e la facile escursione nella bellissima foresta. Il circuito è lungo circa 9 km e dura circa 2,5-3 ore. Se scegli di scalare la torre panoramica, il tour durerà 4 ore. Il terreno è facile, principalmente su strada forestale, asfalto e alcuni tratti fangosi. Il tour è adatto anche a bambini e cani. Inizieremo e finiremo nello stesso punto.

Questa escursione è una passeggiata piacevole e poco impegnativa nella bellissima parte della foresta dei Piccoli Carpazi. Respirerai aria fresca, ascolterai il canto degli uccelli nell'area protetta degli uccelli mentre ascolti le storie affascinanti della gente della foresta.
La salita alla famosa torre panoramica di Veľká Homola è facoltativa. Richiede una buona condizione fisica. Aspettatevi una ripida salita di 40 minuti. Tuttavia, i panorami di tutti i Piccoli Carpazi valgono lo sforzo.

This is an excellent tour guide - funny, knowledgable, and dynamic. I enjoyed our walk in beautiful Slovak woods while chatting about the Slovak history and culture. Glass of excellent wine out under the night sky was a very welcome and pleasant end of the tour. I will never forget it!

Taking tours with Martina absolutely made my visit to Modra the best. I was traveling solo on this trip, so was very happy to find that Modra has an excellent English-speaking guide (she also speaks German, and a bit of Spanish, too, I think). One afternoon, Martina took me on a hike in the Small Carpathian hills outside Modra, amongst the German woodcutters' cottages and surrounding forest. Besides being a local, Martina also has really studied history of the region and is therefore very knowledgeable. On another day, Martina took me up to the top of the town hall tower to see the view and learn more about the history of Modra. (If you go up when the bells chime, you will get a noisy and beautiful bonus!) I also opted for a wine tasting tour with her which did not disappoint! The wines of this region are spectacular and tasting them with someone who understands the wines and even knows some of the makers, was very special. Martina is a friendly and excellent guide who I would highly recommend to anyone coming to this region of Slovakia!
