Arrivati in Vaticano è possibile visitare Piazza San Pietro ricostruita e ridisegnata grazie a Gian Lorenzo Bernini tra il 1656 e il 1667, la Basilica, la cui ricostruzione fu affidata al Bramante, quindi Raffaello Sanzio, Giocondo da Verona, Giuliano da Sangallo e Michelangelo infine
Il Pantheon fu costruito a Roma tra il 118 e il 128 d.C. sotto l'imperatore Adriano.
Piazza Navona fu costruita sul vecchio stadio di Diocleziano che veniva utilizzato per le competizioni di ginnastica. Oggi puoi ammirare la Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi, la Fontana di Nettuno e la Chiesa di Sant'Agnese in Agonia in piazza Navona.
Piazza Venezia è il luogo in cui è possibile ammirare Il Vittoriano (Altare della Patria) e il balcone da cui Benito Mussolini dichiarò la seconda guerra mondiale contro Francia e Gran Bretagna.
Il Vittoriano o Altare della Patria ("la torta nuziale") fu costruito e progettato da Giuseppe Sacconi nel 1885
Fontana di Trevi, il chiaro stile barocco è opera di Nicola Salvi. L'artista fu responsabile della costruzione della fontana nel XVIII secolo dopo aver vinto un concorso organizzato da papa Clemente XII.
Di fronte a Piazza di Spagna si può vedere la Fontana Barcaccia di Pietro Bernini (il padre di Gian Lorenzo)

Do not use them! They left us at the port and we were there 10 min. early. No response to whats app nor to email for over an hour. Had to get a cab and spent 2x more.
LIAR! This customer, Cindy Thornton, made a reservation with us for a shared shuttle from port to Rome the 27th of August 2024. She reserved originally at 7:00am writing in the note of the reservation: "We will be very early off the ship (we have priority debarkation)". The day before the service we discovered that the same person did a very similar reservation with the company SHARED SHUTTLE (please visit their profile on tripavisor to see a very similar review) for the same service but at 7:30am. We knew about it because there are not many companies in Rome that offer shared shuttle service from Port. We communicate about our working day, we are friends. With Shared Shuttle Company we decided to send into the port only 1 driver, the driver of The Limo Shuttle company to pick up Cindy Thornton. The driver was there at 7:00 to collect the diffenrt customers that reserved the 7:00am shuttle. When Andrea (the name of the driver) collected the first 2 couples started to inform the office that there should be a problem with Cindy Thornton because she was not there ready to leave. We decided to sent a mail to this person at 7:15 informing that the driver and other customers was wating for them. After 10 minures we sent a second mail. This person answered that there was a long line in the disembarkation process (PRIORITY DEBARKATION????????). Than this person sent another mail telling that was almost ready. After another 10 minutes we sent another mail informing that in few minutes the shuttle should leave (the shared shuttle has 30 minutes waiting time into the port). At 7:34 we sent a final mail informing that in 2 minutes the shuttle was leaving. In the end, we informed that the shuttle left (7:36am). When this person understood that The Limo Shuttle was not there anymore, she started to write in Facebook to SHARED SHUTTLE company, asking for their driver. Shared Shuttle Company informed that we knew about the 2 reservation and we sent just 1 driver (not to spoil a working day of a second driver) and she told them that SHARED SHUTTLE driver should be there because she never confirmed with THE LIMO SHUTTLE. We can prove everything becuase everything is written. In the end, considering that the people that was into the shuttle and waited for you more that 35 minutes was very upset with you, we can say that we are very happy that you spent 2x more.
We enjoyed our Private tour of Rome. Our guide share some information and took us to the top sites and waited for us as we explored the sites. He was very professional as well.
We had a great driver Stefano who was very flexible and accommodating. We had a great tour of key sightseeing spots and learned alot about the city. Thanks Stefano for a great first day in Rome!
Fabio did a fantastic job driving us around Rome. We were able to visit all the sites we wanted to see in a day. He knew the streets well and that helped save us time. It’s a day we won’t forget.
Giovanni our guide was excellent. We were a party of 6 ladies and his minibus was clean, spacious and comfortable. The price was far cheaper than booking on-board the ship. We hadn't planned an itinerary in advance and relied on him to take us to all of points of interest. We weren't disappointed. He planned the route really well and we had plenty of time everywhere. I would suggest that you prebook tickets if you wish to go inside Vatican City or Colosseum etc. The queues are far too long. If you do pre book, plan your itinerary to give yourself enough time, and Giovanni will get you there. He was a pleasant, knowledge man. I commend him on his driving skills around Rome as traffic is Crazy. He is well deserving of a 5 star rating.
Thank you to Ibrahim Amara, our driver of the NCC Airport shuttle S.C transfers. He was punctual which took the stress out of trying to get from Civittavechia port to Fiumicino airport. He was professional yet friendly and had an incredible knowledge of the sights in Rome that he took us to before getting us to the airport on time. I would recommend this service to any traveller and will definitely use this shuttle service again. It put the cherry on top of our holiday and I can only thank Ibrahim for this.
Everything from the booking process, to informing us via email with the picture of the driver and all his details before arrival, upto taking us from infront of the cruise and taking us to all the attractions. Roberto has exceeded our expertise, he has catered the trip around what we were interested in and our prebooked tickets in different locations. And has taken us around in areas that the normal tours and buses wouldn't take you as they have taxi license on their cars. Pickup and drop off was from infront of our cruise. We have been given enough time at each attraction to get off and take photos. We have visited so many attractions in a single day. Very happy with the service received and highly recommend them..
<p>Our driver Luca was excellent. He arrived on time at the dockside was very informative and knew all the short cuts around Rome. By exchanging numbers we could contact him to pick us up around the city. He found us a restaurant for lunch and we definitely got better value the a coach tour.</p>
