I nostri gruppi escursionistici sono piccoli, limitati ad un massimo di 6 persone per migliorare l'esperienza personale, con più opportunità di coinvolgere e interagire con la Guida. L'escursione India Venster è rinomata per la sua sfida e il paesaggio drammatico. Il “Venster” (che significa “finestra” in afrikaans) si riferisce ad uno spettacolare belvedere incorniciato da due grandi contrafforti di roccia. La Table Mountain, una delle cime più iconiche dell'Africa e una delle New7Wonders of Nature, è un'esperienza davvero unica. Fa parte di un regno floreale che si trova solo nel Capo sud-occidentale, comunemente noto come Fynbos. Questo è il più piccolo ma il più ricco dei sei regni floreali del mondo, che ospita un'incredibile diversità di protee, erica e restios. Unica sulla montagna è anche la sfuggente rana fantasma di Table Mountain, una specie rara che non si trova altrove. Ad aggiungere al carattere della montagna c’è la presenza dei tahr himalayani, capre di montagna selvatiche originarie delle regioni dell’India settentrionale, Tibet meridionale, Cina e Nepal.

Can’t say enough good things about our experience! Patrick was very knowledgeable, kind and flexible. He really worked with our schedule to move around the hike based on weather. He gave us history about the mountain and Cape Town and had great technical experience navigating India Venster! Use Patrick!

We did the India Venster hike with Patrick. It was a challenging hike, and one we would not have attempted without a guide, but Patrick was great, giving us the confidence to keep going when we reached some of the more tricky parts, and overall giving us excellent advice and direction when we needed it. He was also very friendly and engaging, with stories about Table Mountain and Cape Town more generally. The hike overall was quite an experience. It took about 4 hours with plenty of stunning views of Lions Head and the city below along the way, and there was a real sense of achievement when we reached the top, definitely an experience that will live long in the memory. I would definitely recommend Patrick as a guide for hiking up Cape Town's various peaks. He really knows his stuff, and I had complete confidence in his ability to help us navigate the challenging parts of the hike.

Patrick provided a nice overview of where our hike would take us up the mountain. Lots of interesting flora on the way up and of course one of a kind views. Route was technically challenging, but Patrick helped guide us through the scrambles. Highly recommend if you're looking to get outdoors in Cape Town.

Wife and I did this tour and it was great. Patrick was very informative and helpful. Views are out of this world, great exercise, and we learned alot about Table Mountain and Cape Town as a whole. I'd recommend 100%.

Amazing hike. Challenging, nothing insane, but you definitely have to enjoy rock scrambling and climbing with all fours at times. It can get a bit aerial and vertiginous in 2-3 spots, so if major fears of heights that may make it a bit difficult. But overall I highly recommend this hike. Best to do with a guide or someone with experience because may be easy to lose the trail

We had an amazing time hiking India Venster with Patrick! He was such a fantastic guide. I was nervous about the scrambling sections as I hadn’t done much of that before. However, Patrick was there every step of the way and showed us exactly what to do. I don’t think I could have done it without his guidance but thanks to him we managed it all without any problems. Plus, I realised just how much fun scrambling is and am now excited to do more in the future! The route is stunning, and so beautiful. In fact, I didn’t want the hike to end! Thank you so much for a wonderful experience. This is easily one of the best things that I have ever done in Cape Town and the ULTIMATE way to experience the beauty of Table Mountain. Thank you!

Patrick was the perfect guide. India Venster is not for the faint of heart. And while I am in pretty good shape I was very slow on the day of the hike. Patrick was patient, positive and very good company sharing stories about the mountain and the flora around us. He was especially amazing when we got to the scrambling and showed me exactly where to place my feet as we ascended. This by far was my favorite part of the hike and it was all thanks to Patrick's expert guidance. I am so glad I did this hike. It will stay with me for a long time. A highlight of my trip.

My husband and I loved this guided hike. Table Mountain is beautiful, and the India Venster trail is the perfect blend of hiking and novice rock climbing. Our guide Patrick was outstandingly fun and patient, and his instructions helped us (non-climbers) get up this trail’s climbing sections without ever feeling nervous or unsafe. If you like nature and adventure, this is a must do in Cape Town!
