Un modo imperdibile per trascorrere una giornata diversa e non comune: un'escursione in barca a vela per ammirare la bellezza di un tratto di costa definito tra i più belli al mondo. Partendo da Tropea, visiterete la grotta bianca e proseguendo passerete davanti a Formicoli, alla baia di Riaci, per arrivare infine a Capo Vaticano, noto per le sue piccole spiagge, come Cala di Fuoco, con un mare limpido e cristallino. Sarà possibile nuotare o fare snorkeling con l'attrezzatura a bordo e immergersi nelle acque con magnifici fondali marini tra banchi di pesci colorati.

Partendo dal porto di Tropea, costeggeremo un tratto di costa. Visiteremo la grotta bianca o grotta dello scheletro. È chiamata così perché, una volta entrati, la parte sommersa del corpo diventa bianca. È un gioco di riflessi tra la luce del sole e la sabbia sul fondo, che si specchia sulla pelle facendola apparire bianca come uno scheletro.
Non può mancare una sosta a Formicoli nella Baia di Riaci. Questo tratto di costa situato fra Tropea e Capo Vaticano regala scorci meravigliosi e mare cristallino, ideale per un tuffo rilassante.
Giunti a Capo Vaticano, faremo sosta alla famosa "Praia i Foco" con il suo mare limpido e le sue calette raggiungibili solo in barca.

Went on afternoon tour. Small group of max 12 people and yacht was very well maintained. Matteo the "captain" was knowledgeable about the area. We stopped a couple of times to swim. Small aperitif - fruit and Prosecco - before returning. Just enough time to enjoy the coastline views. Perfect start or finish to a stay in Tropea.
We had a wonderful, experience-rich, and very informative sailing tour with Mattia. He welcomed us on time and was very accommodating in every respect. In English, very easy to understand, he informed us about the history and special features of the Costa degli Dei. Special thanks go to him for his active help, so that despite my physical limitation, I was able to get back on board safely after swimming in the magnificent bays. Being allowed to be captain for once put the icing on the cake of the whole beautiful afternoon. Big Mama was sooo happy ;-) He served champagne and fresh fruit in a gentlemanly manner, he entertained everyone charmingly and answered our questions patiently. He brought us safely back to the harbor. Everything professional and easy at the same time- every cent was worth this trip! Highly recommended without exception! See you next year, guy!
We were grateful the captain made the right call. He postponed the excursion by 1 hour and the sky opened up, but not risking going out to sea in choppy waters. From there it was pure bliss, sailing down to Capo Vaticano, swimming in the crystal waters shimmering in the sun! Fruits and Prosecco were served at the end. Whole experience was wow!!! Also this was small group so didn’t feel over crowded. The boat itself was beautiful with a restroom onboard too. Also very steady. Only thing maybe for the entire trip the sail was not raised. Given the price point, we weren’t expecting a true sailing either. If you’re not a swimmer, maybe not the right tour either because anchoring and then swimming into caves and through cape to get to secluded beaches were the best part of our trip. Matthias offered us “noodles” and they were a godsend to not feel stressed about tiring out. Anyways, loved this excursion ❤️👍❤️. Highly recommend. One last note, read the directions for meeting place and stay on WhatsApp.
We did this excursion as a family, shared with 4 other couples, our kids (9 and 6 years old) had a great time..Mattia was an excellent travel guide...the people we met were also fantastic...an experience that will surely remain in our hearts.

We opted for the sailboat excursion during our Tropea vacation on the Coast of the Gods \"Tropea-Capo Vaticano\" and we were very happy both with the comfort of the 15-meter-long boat and especially with the skipper Giuseppe, who was perfect in everything. We made 3 swimming stops and during the navigation we were offered some prosecco and some fruit.
A relaxing afternoon. No wind but a great way to explore the coast with frequent swim stops. Not that it mattered to us, but no seating or shade as the boat was ‘full’ Refreshments provided but scarce. Arriving on time was late according to the skipper….

Absolutely recommended sailing experience! Mattia, knowledgeable and very friendly, guided us in discovering the Coast of the Gods from a different and truly captivating perspective. The tour was organized with a small group, allowing us to experience it in an authentic, relaxed, and engaging way. An experience we would definitely repeat!
