Il nostro tour è la nuova esperienza Hobbiton estesa (ora 2,5 ore) in cui puoi avventurarti oltre la porta in un interno Hobbit Hole completamente a tema. Immergiti nell'interno con ingresso, camere da letto, bagno, cucina, zona pranzo, bagno attrezzato, salotto e camino scoppiettante. Lasciati affascinare dal magico mondo di Hobbiton che prende vita e scatta foto davanti ai tuoi luoghi preferiti come Hobbit Holes, Shire e la pensione Green Dragon. Poi viaggia verso le famose grotte Waitomo Glowworm e lasciati affascinare dalle migliaia di magici vermi scintillanti nelle grotte, dalle stalattiti e dalle stalagmiti mentre scivoli silenziosamente attraverso la grotta in barca. Dopo aver lasciato Auckland, viaggerete a sud oltre le Bombay Hills mentre vi godrete viste panoramiche elevate sulla regione di Waikato e viaggerete attraverso le pittoresche pianure di Hauraki fino a Matamata, la casa del set cinematografico di Hobbiton.

This tour was even better than I expected. Rachel, our tour guide, was lovely and friendly, which was especially nice since I suffer from motion sickness, so I sat up front. I already can’t wait to go back to Hobbiton, and the Waitomo caves nearly brought me to tears. My only note would be that, while the cafe offers gluten free options, it is very much not safe for Celiac, and folks should prepare for that. I brought food, just in case, but if I hadn’t, it would have been a long day without eating.
Great day. Our tour guide, Rachel, was very sweet and informative. She made the long drive better with her balance of educational commentary and quiet time. She played themed music when we neared Hobbiton. She explained what we were to expect before each part of our trip. Well rounded excursion. We got lunch (part of the tour, which was a nice surprise) and she had great recommendations. We stopped for ice cream (we paid) on the way back and had plenty of bathroom opportunities through the whole day. Our tour group got along and ended up meeting up after for quiz night in downtown and Rachel joined us! Got to see the sunrise and the sunset on the excursion. Promptly picked up from my hotel. And dropped off there too. Perfect tour to see and experience so much. Would definitely recommend and do this excursion again if I make it back to Auckland.

Auckland scenic tours were great! They picked us up from our hotel and dropped us back at the end of the day, almost a full 12 hour day. Tour bus was clean and full with 15 people, and our driver Mike was really lovely and very knowledgeable about Auckland, telling us facts throughout the drives. Tour guides took over when we got to each place, and the tours were wonderful! Highly recommend for anyone!
What a great adventure through Northern New Zealand to see the well-cared for Hobbiton movie set and the stunning Waitimo caves! Our guide, Tracey had many informative details about the region as well as amusing stories to share on our day together.

The Hobbiton and Waitomo Caves experience was the highlight of our time in Auckland. It was a perfectly organised day thanks to our talented, knowledgeable, and friendly guide Rachel. It was incredible to not need to worry about logistics and be looked after and entertained all day. The additional history and stories that Rachel shared on our journey to Hobbiton and the Waitomo Caves heightened the excitement and made our visits even more magical. Rachel also did a fantastic job of introducing and caring for our tour group, which created a jolly sense of camaraderie all day. The journey was well paced, and the provided lunch stop was filling for me. I also appreciated the mini break we took in the morning for coffee, and the home stretch break for ice cream. Thanks again Rachel for a top-notch day.

Be ready for the early morning pickup! Timely manner for the tours and food breaks really helps make a smooth day for everyone.

We leave as there is only 1 road south out of Auckland and we must beat the early morning peak hour traffic going south out of Auckland as what should take only 30 minutes to leave greater Auckland can otherwise take 2-3 times that and then the risk is missing our tour times.
