La nostra prima tappa è un tratto in fuoristrada fino al fronte lavico dell'eruzione del 2002. Ripartendo lungo la Via Mareneve, in mezzo alla Pineta Ragabo, arriveremo al punto di partenza del nostro trekking ai crateri Monti Sartorius. Proseguiremo a piedi partendo da 1650m ed arrivando fino a quota 1750 metri, una passeggiata semplice adatta a tutti. Esploreremo poi una grotta di scorrimento lavico, la Grotta dei Ladroni, muniti di caschi e torce. Ci fermeremo in uno chalet o ristorante locale per pranzare (inclusi nel prezzo: un primo, acqua e caffè/tè). Dopo pranzo, raggiungeremo le caratteristiche Gole dell’Alcantara, dette anche Gole di Larderia. Una visita rinfrescante e rilassante in un luogo meraviglioso. Potrete rinfrescarvi nel fiume Alcantara in mezzo al canyon delle Gole!

Dopo pranzo (incluso nel prezzo: un primo, acqua e caffè/tè), attraversando Castiglione di Sicilia, uno dei "Borghi più belli d’Italia", raggiungeremo le Gole dell’Alcantara, dette anche Gole di Larderia. Il canyon lavico delle Gole dell’Alcantara è situato nel territorio di Motta Camastra, è un capolavoro della natura scavato in migliaia di anni. Con pareti alte fino a 25 metri e passaggi stretti appena 2 metri. L'ingresso al Parco Botanico dell'Alcantara è incluso nel prezzo, ci fermeremo circa 1 ora per una visita libera delle Gole dell'Alcantara.

Great, full day out. Mario was full of knowledge about the local villages, buildings and culture. He imparted his love of the volcano and its interesting history. The trekking was not arduous and suited the group. Lunch was pasta, water and coffee. The pick up and drop off ran smoothly.
Great experience especially the support service. Very helpful and responds quickly. The tour was informative and the ride was smooth and on time. Visited all the places accordingly.
A beautiful tour made even more beautiful, interesting, pleasant, and educational by the two guides, Rosario and Alfio... who gladly leave no one behind and adapt the tour to the people. Highly recommended, not to be missed with them.
We had Julia as a guide and she was great. We went to 4 different spots to visit lava caves, lava holes, and a hike up Mt Etna. Unfortunately it was foggy at the top so couldn't see much. Lunch was lively and fun.

We had such an amazing experience exploring Mount Etna and the Alcantara Gorges, and so much of that was thanks to our incredible guide, Massimo! He was absolutely amazing so knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. He explained everything so well and made the entire experience both fun and interesting. The scenery was breathtaking, and getting to experience both Mount Etna and the Alcantara Gorges in one day was unforgettable. Lunch was also incredible, with so many delicious options to choose from! Massimo truly made the experience special, and we couldn’t have asked for a better guide. If you’re looking for an amazing experience in Sicily, we highly recommend this tour and especially Massimo as your guide!
Beautiful experience, wonderful places. Our driver Giuseppe was great company and the restaurant was excellent. Despite the appreciated availability, it is a pity about the lightness with which our guide Salvatore conducted the visit, basing his attitude on friendliness and joking rather than the technical aspect that we expected to find, also considering the costs incurred to carry out the experience. Absolutely recommended, but it would be nice to be able to ensure that you receive adequate information step by step during the visit, especially because by catching the explanations of other guides, it was possible for us to grasp more interesting and useful aspects to understand the peculiarities of the place.
Fantastic tour! Massimo is an exceptional guide as well as a pleasant person; we visited some very interesting sites, and he explained in depth both the history of the mountain and the human approach to it, including the fauna and flora—truly very comprehensive! Very good lunch at the mountain hut, and finally the Alcantara Gorges, which were truly evocative; it was a wonderful experience!
