Escursione Etna Crateri Sommitali
Descrizione
Tale tour permetterà di avvicinarsi vicino la zona dei crateri sommitali dell’Etna caratterizzati dalla tipica attività vulcanica con emissioni di gas e zolfo. Con la guida naturalistica vi recherete all’ingresso della funivia dell’Etna e da qui prenderete la funivia che vi porterà a 2500mt., da lì verrete trasportati in bus 4×4 a quota 2800 mt. dove troverete la guida alpina vulcanologica che vi farà visitare i crateri dell’eruzione 2002 e al tempo stesso vi troverete faccia a faccia con i crateri sommitali fumanti. Sarà possibile anche scegliere l’opzione solamente con salita in funivia fino a 2500 mt . Alla fine del tour ad alta quota, la guida vi mostrerà altri elementi peculiari dell’Etna situati a quote più basse per portarvi infine in un’azienda agricola sita in Zafferana Etnea per assaggiare le tipicità del luogo.

Escursione che permetterà di osservare da una distanza ravvicinata i crateri attivi dell'Etna caratterizzati da emissioni di gas e zolfo. - Pick up presso struttura ricettiva o punto d'incontro concordato - Visita dell'area sommitale (raggiungibile con i mezzi della funivia) quota 2900 mt con guida alpina vulcanologica - Visita di una grotta di scorrimento lavico (caschetti e torce in dotazione) - Visita della famosa colata lavica del 1991/93 che raggiunse le porte del paese di Zafferana; - Degustazione di prodotti tipici in azienda locale presso Zafferana - Drop off presso struttura ricettiva o punto d’incontro.

It was a 'very nice experience, new, a landscape that is worth seeing not only once, I would certainly repeat it in several periods of the year given the breathtaking views from many parts of the volcano and given the different experiences you can live depending on the excursion you choose to fare.La absolutely deserving guide, has been able to give exhaustive explanations to us tourists mixed by language and age.Bravissimo Guido!
Our Mt Etna Summit excursion was nothing short of phenomenal. Our tour guide , Zelia spoke perfect English and was a knowledgeable and kind guide that shared loads of information from native plant species to geological facts about the volcano and its history. One of the highlights of our experience in Sicily. Highly recommend.
