Sarah and Angelo were excellent tour guides. They were friendly and explained all the locations very well.
We had a wonderful trip to Lake Como and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Everything was very well organized from start to finish, making the day completely stress-free. Our tour guides were exceptional—professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. They shared interesting insights throughout the trip and were always happy to answer questions, making the experience even more enjoyable. The itinerary was well planned, everything running smoothly and on time. We truly appreciated the excellent organization and the warm hospitality of the team. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
our guide spoke english with a very Italian accent! she was very hard to understand and went from speaking Italian to english without any break!
Thank you for your feedback and for choosing our Lake Como & Bellagio tour. We're sorry the language switch made it hard to follow our guide at times. We take this seriously and will work with our guide on pacing and clarity when moving between Italian and English. We hope to welcome you again.
Good experience, a bit long, eight hours can be more than enough. It covered a lot of areas. Well organized Highly recommended
Well-organized group trip to Como, Bellagio, and Varenna; the guides (Angelo, Sara, and Guillermo) were very kind and truly helpful.
Had more time visiting in Bellagio than in Lake Como yet, it was not enough to even explore the beautiful gardens. The short stops were just enough to walk around purchase souvenirs & have lunch. Be aware of time for the public ferry rides. Getting off the wrong city might cost you a long way back & miss your bus ride.
WARNING TO OTHERS: Abandoned in Bellagio: Appalling organization and abysmal communication We had a very bad experience with this tour and the company, with the main issue being left behind at Bellagio! I want to warn others about this company, not only of the error made by the tour guide but also the abysmal correspondence and communication following this incident. Firstly, the hotel pickup was 45 minutes later than planned. We ensured we were ready earlier than our 7:30 am pickup and had to seek two updates on the whereabouts of our driver. Before leaving Bellagio we were at the meeting point early. The guide saw us and spoke to us there. He gave us the tickets for the next boat and asked us to remain where we were. Somehow the group left without us despite us being at the correct place ahead of time and the guide knowing we were not late. The experience of being left behind was incredibly distressing and made worse by poor correspondence at the time and afterwards: The company told us to “skip the line“ to get on the next boat, but this was not possible due to the huge queue and the invalidity of our tickets. We needed to pay for new boat tickets, and wait in a line in the sun for over an hour to get a place on the later boat due to the crowds. Then the boat was a slower service with inadequate seating so we had to stand for two hours. We missed the time to explore Como. The chaos caused by being abandoned in Bellagio on the day also greatly marred our experience of Lake Como, our time in Milan and the trip to Italy as a whole. We travelled from Australia and were looking forward to the experience promised by this tour. It is unlikely we will have another chance to see this part of the world. The failures on the part of your company on the day, as well as the continuing failure to adequately communicate and provide fair compensation is a huge disappointment. We tried multiple times to get a resolution and it's now more than ten days since the incident with no resolution.
We are truly sorry for what happened in Bellagio and for the distress and disruption it caused to your trip. This falls well below our standards, and we are reviewing the incident with the guide involved. Please contact us directly so we can address the situation and discuss fair compensation.
Nice day - but description is misleading. Very short time on the semi-private boat - mostly on ferry but you do get to skip the ferry line. Wish the stop in Bellagio was longer. The stop in Como was pointless - should have made Bellagio longer.
We haven’t even started the tour itself, but the organization this morning has already been disappointing. Our instructions were to meet at 7:45 a.m. for an 8:00 a.m. pickup. After being picked up, we were taken to a second meeting point to collect additional passengers. Nearly 1 hour and 40 minutes after the original meeting time, we were finally leaving the city and beginning the actual journey. This seems like a very inefficient use of guests’ time. If multiple pickup locations are necessary, it would make more sense to either have one central meeting point or to pick up guests in an order that allows the tour to head out of town efficiently. Instead, a significant portion of the morning was spent waiting and backtracking. At this point, the poor logistics have already diminished my confidence in the tour operator. Travelers book day tours to maximize their limited vacation time, and losing nearly two hours before the tour even begins is frustrating. Based on this experience, I would recommend looking for a tour company with better planning and organization.
Good experience but understandable that you don't have too long to explore so at times felt a bit rushed. I didn't expect two ferry rides which were ok and probably my fault I thought it was a private boat experience but this was only for the first phase.
