Il Forte di Agra è il secondo sito del patrimonio mondiale della città. È uno dei forti più antichi e più grandi dell'India. Fu costruito nel X secolo dal re indù Rajput Badal Singh. Successivamente questo forte fu ricostruito dal terzo re Mughal Akbar. Akbar costruì molti palazzi nel forte di Agra con arenaria rossa. Shahjahan aggiunse anche alcuni magnifici edifici in marmo bianco. Il Palazzo Jahangir, Diwan-a-khas, Diwan-a-am e khas mahal sono i bellissimi palazzi del Forte di Agra.

Excellent communication, all via whatsapp. We got picked up from our hotel in Bengalore and was brought to the airport, flight to Delhi was uneventful, picked up by the driver that was with us rest of the day. Driven to Agar (about 3 hours away) then picked up the local guide who was excellent and was very informative during the tours. Got great pictures of the Taj. Next, we were taken to a local restaurant with great food (not covered). Then we visited a local tile shop with excellent display of artwork, then a tour of Fort Agar. And finally brought back to Bengalor and taken back to our hotel. Overall, we had a great time though it was a really long day of traveling but 100% recommend!
