Fai una gita di 10 ore a Petra e fai un passo indietro nel tempo! Supera il Siq, una stretta gola da dove si ottengono le prime viste ravvicinate della colorata arenaria, che terminano con il bellissimo tesoro. Cammina lungo la Via delle Facciate fino alle Tombe Reali, al teatro e a Qasr Al Bint. Dopo aver visitato e visto Petra l'autista vi aspetterà al Visitor Center pronto a partire sulla via del ritorno ad Amman o all'aeroporto di Amman.

My partner and I booked our driver Adnan for our first visit to Petra. We highly recommend requesting Adnan as he was very accomodating and insightful throughout the entire 6 hour trip. On the way to Petra and the way back to Amman he stopped at a midway house so we could have a rest from the long drive. He allowed us to have lunch after our Petra visit at a local restaurant where the food and service was amazing. Adnan gave us very helpful tips for our trip to Petra, including what to expect, as well as giving us extra bottles of water so we didn't need to purchase any inside. This was a great experience for my partner and I and if we ever come back to Petra, Adnan will be our first point of contact! :)

We had a brilliant experience in Southern Jordan with Bardaghawi as our driver, Esam as our guide for Petra, and Abdullah as our guide through Wadi Rum. Everything flowed smoothly, from the early morning hotel pickup to the 4 hour drive to Wadi Musa. Bardaghawi provided some great local history and context for us throughout the journey. We were then handed over to Esam at the Petra visitor center, and spent the next several hours exploring the site with him as a guide - he was great, knowledgeable and funny, we really enjoyed meeting him and spending a bit of time with him. We decided last-minute to go to Wadi Rum and Bardaghawi arranged it no problem. We were brought around by Abdullah in his jeep and saw some beautiful scenery in the desert. The whole experience was great. Recommended 10/10

Adnan was super helpful and a great driver! The mini bus was amazingly cool and comfy plus Adnan gave us water and took us to get falafel wraps too!

This day trip was a fantastic experience. Our driver and guide Bardaghawi picked my wife and I up from the hotel and during the drive to Petra he gave us some great insights into Jordan and explained the rich history of Petra. We stopped for coffee and a very smart souvenir shop en route, and Bardaghawi gave us some very useful practical advice on the best way to explore Petra. We had pre-purchased Jordan Passes so entry was straight forward. We had a fantastic self-guided visit to the historical site at Petra, which is definitely a must-see location in Jordan. Our drive back to Amman also went very smoothly.. it was a great day, good value and many thanks to R&H and Bardaghawi.

We became aware of R&H's offer through reviews here at Tripadvisor and took advantage of it at the end of February 2026. Communication, ordering and processing via WhatApp went smoothly and quickly. We had heard of the positive review of the driver Mr. Bardaghawi read and at our request also received this driver. Mr. Bardaghawi arrived at the hotel on time to pick us up. The ride with him was safe in all respects and the information he gave us about Jordan and its people was interesting and helpful. Likewise the information about Petra. Like the outbound journey to was safe and ended a nice day. We can do R&H as well as Mr. Bardaghawi extensively recommend and wish them all the best in these difficult times. And hopefully quickly restore peace to the region.

It can be cold so be prepared in February and March. All down hill walking to Treasury and Amp. Can pay to get golf cart ride back uphill to visitors center. Wonderful geography and history!
