Itinerario
Arriviamo al punto di riferimento più famoso di Wensleydale, il Bolton Castle del XIV secolo che un tempo ospitava Mary Queen of Scots, dove avrai l'opportunità di goderti e fotografare le magnifiche viste su Wensleydale, imparare un po 'di storia della zona dalla tua guida, o semplicemente goditi una piacevole birreria nello Yorkshire nella sala da tè del castello medievale: a te la scelta!

Arriviamo nel tradizionale villaggio di Dales di Kettlewell, reso famoso a livello internazionale nel 2003 come location principale per le riprese del film Calendar Girls. Puoi esplorare il villaggio e conoscere meglio la vera storia dietro al film, o semplicemente goderti una birra o un caffè con la gente del posto in uno dei pub e dei caffè - qualunque cosa tu preferisca!
Continuiamo il nostro viaggio attraverso la splendida campagna del Parco Nazionale, passando Kilnsey Crag e il villaggio di Grassington mentre ci dirigiamo attraverso le dolci colline di Nidderdale, un'area di straordinaria bellezza naturale.
Infine, ci sarà una breve sosta nell'affascinante cittadina di Pateley Bridge, vincitrice della categoria nel Great British High Street Competition nel 2016, dove hai la possibilità di visitare “The Oldest Sweet Shop in the World” (Guinness Book 2014 of Records). We loved both of the tours we did back to back - to the Yorkshire Dales National Park with the All Creatures Great and Small tour and then to Whitby and the North York Moors. Mark was a fabulous driver and host, very knowledgable and friendly. Would highly recommend!

The driver was easy to understand, on time, took photos, took us to absolutely beautiful scenery. By chance it was an absolutely perfectly clear day with cherry blossoms, sheep and green grass as far as you can see.

This was our 4th trip with B.O.B.Tours and yet again a great day out.Mark was his usual friendly,informative and helpful guide.His knowledge of Yorkshire is exceptional with a great ability to relate to all the passengers.Our tour didn’t have a full complement of passengers,which did not detract from the tour.Visited a number of locations,view points and a special stop at Wensleydale Creamery.All in all,one of the best tour companies we have ever used.Thank you,Mark for great day out.Hope to be back soon.Best wishes.Jim and Cath.

Mark, the tour guide was excellent in terms of his knowledge, planning and driving skills. Due to weather forecast, he made changes to the itinerary ( in sequence) and we managed to visit all the places at the right weather.
