Dopo colazione partenza per Kruja, centro della resistenza albanese contro gli ottomani sotto il nostro eroe nazionale Scanderbeg. Impedì agli eserciti ottomani di attraversare l'Europa occidentale per 25 anni, guadagnandosi così il titolo di "Athleta Christi" assegnato dal papa dell'epoca. Visiteremo il Museo Skanderbeg, uno dei migliori del paese e un ricco Museo Etnografico con quasi tutti gli oggetti originali della fine del XIX secolo.
Finalmente attraversiamo il famoso bazar di Kruja pieno di artigianato tradizionale. questa è un'opportunità unica per te per osservare gli artigiani che realizzano i prodotti all'interno del loro laboratorio.
Il castello di Preza è una delle roccaforti medievali di Skanderbej. oggigiorno è uno dei punti panoramici più belli dell'Albania centrale. Possiamo gustare un pranzo tradizionale facoltativo in cui proveremo deliziosi byrek, sallads di villaggio, bajalldi di imam, agnello e altre ricette regionali.
Visiteremo alcuni resti come l'anfiteatro del II secolo d.C. con circa 15000 posti a sedere, il foro romano, il museo archeologico con una magnifica collezione di paci di marmo e ceramica dai tempi antichissimi a quelli successivi, la torre veneziana all'esterno mura dell'antica Durazzo. Prima di tornare a Tirana, abbiamo un rinfresco in un bar panoramico
Dopo le visite continuano a Durazzo una delle città più antiche in Albania e la prima e forse la più importante delle colonie greche nel paese. Fu fondata ad Epidamnus nel 627 a.C. dai greci di Corcyra (l'attuale Corfù) e Corinto. Gli autori greci e romani la chiamarono "la città ammirevole" per il suo tempio, statue e altri monumenti. Tuttavia, solo pochi resti ci ricordano i giorni di gloria di questa città, principalmente a causa dei terremoti e anche del fatto che Durazzo è stata abitata continuamente nel tempo. Pertanto è stato trasformato di conseguenza.

Excellent tour! Durres and Kruja are two essential stops in Albania and this excursion allows you to visit them comfortably in the day. The Berti guide was impeccable, kind and prepared, the transport comfortable and with a good balance between guided tours and free time to explore independently. An experience that I highly recommend to anyone who wants to discover the authentic heart of this beautiful country!

had nice time with. my daughter guide was informative leading to the castle great view my only complaint being it would of been nice to have a bit longer as didn't feel had enough time to look round museums and do shopping but this is just a minor point really enjoyed otherwise thankyou for the day

We did the Kruje and Durres day tour with Endri and we had a great time! It felt as if we were on a day out among friends. Endri shared some information about the history and culture of Albania, drove us around all day. He had fantastic knowledge of Albania’s history but also shared some insight about Albanian culture and people. We had a lovely lunch too, The views were absolutely breathtaking! We would definitely recommend a tour with Endri! Thank you also for playing Albanian music for us on the way back at our request :)!
Andret our guide was very nice and showed us the sights while entertaining us with facts about the areas we were in. Really good lunch and ending with an afternoon on the seaside as well as an amphitheatre. Recommended!

We had 2 excellent trips with Endri (?) of Aria. We firstly enjoyed a combined day trip, visiting Kruja and Durres. From start to finish, we were impressed by the competence of our guide, his knowledge, and willingness to ensure we had a memorable day. We also had a wonderful lunch in Kruja. We were so impressed that we booked another trip for the following day, to Berat. Again, we felt it was an excellent tour. Berat was fascinating. Endri provided plenty of information about our visit, as he did about Albania. The scenery was lovely, and the pace was unhurried. Once again, we had a lovely lunch, this time in a winery. We would certainly recommend the company to anyone visiting Albania. Also, our guide added much to the 2 day's excursions.
The best experience with a guide we have ever had. It really is like an Albanian friend showing you his country and neighbouring countries. Our guide Jetmir (Miri) in addition to a great guide, professional and customer-oriented 200%, is a magnificent company. We did 3 tours with him (3 days) and we really felt sorry to say goodbye to him. We have had a great time and it was largely thanks to Miri. Not to mention helped us with a problem we had when we arrived and stayed with us until it was solved. Thank you very much from the heart and we hope to come back soon and meet new places in this wonderful country!
