Escursione alla cascata del Rio Celeste - Cascata di Llanos Del Cortes e osservatorio del bradipo

L'escursione al fiume Celeste è la vista di un insolito fenomeno naturale in cui il fiume e le sue rocce diventano improvvisamente azzurre a causa dei minerali trascinati dal terreno nel fiume. Questi minerali sono il risultato della posizione dei fiumi sui lati del vulcano dormiente Tenorio e delle rimanenti bocche dalle profondità del vulcano. Seguiremo quindi il fiume a valle per un rinfrescante incontro con un'enorme cascata che si riversa lungo i fianchi del vulcano. Avventurati lungo il percorso tradizionale verso la spettacolare cascata "Llanos de Cortez". Questa cascata isolata si estende per 30 piedi di altezza e 40 piedi di larghezza e precipita in uno stagno di sabbia bianca. Divertiti a nuotare, fare escursioni o semplicemente rilassarti.

We couldn’t have had a better time on our adventure with Guanacaste Adventure & Travel. Wilmar thoroughly entertained us on the drive between sites with engaging stories about various landmarks and daily life in Costa Rica. On our hike to the beautiful Rio Celeste waterfall, he was exceptionally knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. He then brought us to a wonderful wildlife preserve, where the local site guide helped us spot red-eyed tree frogs, poison dart frogs, an eyelash viper, a tapir, two sloths, and a toucan. Afterward, Wilmar treated us to a delicious, traditional lunch of pollo casado at a charming local restaurant, before finishing the perfect day with a swim at the stunning Llanos de Cortes cascade. Wilmar is an excellent driver and an expert naturalist who coordinates a flawless itinerary. We highly recommend Guanacaste Adventure & Travel!

Wow, what a great day. Wilmar is a great tour guide and I would recommend him to anyone that travels to the area. Our first stop was the sloth observatory, where we saw a lot of different flora and fauna and lots of wildlife. We were also very lucky to see a baby sloth up close. Second we went to tenorio national park. Wilmar guided us round the national park showing us different snakes, insects, tarantula holes and amazing things in the national park. We went down to rio celeste waterfall which was beautiful, although it was raining it still had a good blue coloured tint to the water. Finally our last stop was a waterfall swim back to the hotel. The water was cold, so we didn't swim but it was very picturesque. Thank you Wilmar for a great day and I hope more people get to experience your hospitality on the tours you provide.

Excellent tour for all ages. Wilmar was a fantastic guide who made quick adjustments to the pick-up location / time because we had an emergency. He was an excellent guide, and pointed out wildlife on our hike to the waterfall. The waterfall was magnificant. The staff at the sloth sanctuary were great with our grandchildren (8 and 9) and showed them lots of wildlife. We would enthusiastically recommend the tour ……and Wilmar!!

Wonderful excursion! My daughter and I loved it! Wilmar is an excellent guide. He is very knowledgeable and we felt safe with him all day. The waterfalls and trails are beautiful. We loved seeing the wildlife and rainforest. Would definitely recommend!
