Il monte Helgafell o Montagna Sacra come viene chiamato in inglese è una delle montagne caratteristiche di Reykjavik ed è popolare tra i suoi abitanti. Verremo a prendervi al vostro hotel e andremo a Kaldársel. Parcheggiamo l'auto e iniziamo la nostra escursione verso la cima che durerà meno di 2 ore. La vista è assolutamente incredibile e puoi firmare il libro degli ospiti situato in alto. Potrai vedere la penisola di Reykjanes e i suoi numerosi vulcani, i campi di lava e l'area della capitale. L'escursione è adatta sia ai principianti che agli escursionisti esperti Ci auguriamo che te ne andrai con la sensazione di quiete e di essere tutt'uno con la natura. La tua guida ti riporta al punto di ritiro. Non vediamo l'ora di camminare con te!

Arriving in the late afternoon with nothing else to do and everything closed we went to the little "bump" of a mountain. It is a 10 minute walk up the path to the top where Thor was supposedly honored. The views are good. It cost 650 ISK to climb to the top.

We had great time hiking to Mt. Helgafell. The view is stunning. We were also happy with the guide and smooth pick up and drop of from our hotel. The whole thing took less then 3,5 hours.

This was an amazing experience! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed spending our morning with our guide, Magnus, and his sweet pup, Lisa. Magnus is personable, easy to talk to, and made this hike incredibly enjoyable. I did not feel pressured at all to keep up with a certain pace. And Magnus made sure to stop every so often to check-in and make sure we were doing well. This was a fantastic way to see more of Iceland and learn more about it from someone who is from the region. It was a lovely morning, well spent. I highly recommend booking this activity and you’ll be lucky if you are guided by Magnus! 10/10!

This was a phenomenonal experience. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. He also was very well prepared. Leesa, the dog, was an amazing bonus. I wish I had time to do a second hike with this company on this visit. I HIGHLY recommend. I had so much fun!!

I have spent 5 days with walk on Iceland and it was an amazing experience, they tried to fit as many places as they can with shifting between the days programs as per the conditions of the weather.

Magnus and his canine friend, Lisa, were wonderful guides for the evening hike! He had the perfect rewards for us as we completed milestones of the hike! He shared so much with us about the country and the people and we so appreciated his flexibility with us as this was a last minute schedule!
