Escursione ad Ausangate e 7 laghi da Cusco

I thought seeing seven lakes might start feeling repetitive. Nope. Different colors, different angles and different mountain backdrops kept every stop interesting.

Way less crowded than Humantay or Rainbow mountain. The lakes are surreal in person. Pro tip: pack extra socks in case your feet get wet near the marshy areas, and bring small change for the toilets at the start!

I didn't know much about the Ausangate lakes before booking, but they completely exceeded my expectations. The route was beautiful from beginning to end, and everything was organized smoothly.

Every few minutes there was another amazing viewpoint. The colors of the lakes changed with the sunlight, making each stop feel unique. Bring a camera—you'll use it constantly.

A beautiful trekking, with landscapes that take your breath away from how beautiful they are. I really enjoyed the experience. Besides, Beto was very nice and was very attentive to the needs of the group. Highly recommended the activity.

This excursion is tough, but beautiful, and the scenery is spectacular and worth a lot. I recommend it as long as physically one has sufficient resistance, since they are 14km and the height is quite rating in the form of tiredness and a little palpitations (in my case, at least). Our guide, Beto, was great to me. He was very patient and, even though I fell quite behind the group, he accompanied me and helped me a lot to get to the end with his recommendations and encouragement (I thought he didn’t make it). It helps a lot to have a guide like Beto because he knows how to transmit his wisdom and confidence to tourists. Thank you very much:)
