Ti accompagneremo in un tour della città di 5 ore ad Atene partendo dal tuo terminal crociere. Ti aspetteremo all'uscita del tuo terminal con un cartello con il tuo nome e ti accompagneremo in centro città. Saliremo sulla collina dell'Acropoli per vedere il famoso Partenone, tempio della dea Atene che si erge sopra la città. L'Eretteo, parzialmente dedicato a Poseidone e, naturalmente, la porta monumentale della fortezza dell'Acropoli. Ovviamente non mancheranno il tempio del re degli Dei, Zeus, e lo storico Stadio Olimpico del 1896. La prossima tappa sarà il cambio della guardia al Palazzo Vecchio e poi ti guideremo attraverso la città per scattare foto degli splendidi edifici neoclasici e poi fino alla collina più alta di Atene dove godrai di una vista indimenticabile. Segue infine l'orgoglio della città, il Nuovo Museo dell'Acropoli, dove potrai vedere da vicino le sculture del Partenone, le più belle opere d'arte risalenti all'età dell'oro. Sali sulla collina dell'Acropoli per vedere il famoso Partenone, il tempio della dea Atene che si erge sopra la città. L'Eretteo, parzialmente dedicato a Poseidone, il dio dell'oceano e, naturalmente, la porta monumentale della fortezza dell'Acropoli.
Naturalmente non mancherà il tempio del re degli dei, Zeus, che si erge come il tempio più grande mai costruito in Grecia. Passeremo accanto alle imponenti colonne e, se lo desideri, potremo anche fare una breve sosta per una visione più ravvicinata.
Fermati a scattare una foto dello storico Stadio dove si tennero le prime Olimpiadi moderne nel 1896!
Ti accompagneremo fino alla collina più alta di Atene, la collina Lycabrttus, dove godrai di una vista indimenticabile.
La prossima tappa sarà il cambio della guardia al Palazzo Vecchio sopra la piazza centrale di Atene. Lo testimonia l'unità Evzones dell'esercito greco che custodisce con disciplina la tomba del Milite Ignoto.
Raggiungi l'Accademia di Atene, parte della prima Università della Grecia, considerata l'edificio neoclassico più bello del paese.
Visiteremo il Nuovo Museo dell'Acropoli, dove vedrai da vicino le sculture del Partenone, le più belle opere d'arte risalenti all'età dell'oro.

We took this tour as part of our cruise on the Sun Princess. Our driver met us at the terminal exactly at the scheduled pick up time. We are not people who like to get started too early in the morning. Because this was a private tour we were able to set the start time to midmorning. Another benefit of a private tour is all the time you save that it takes to load and unload a tour bus. Our driver took us directly to the Acropolis where the guide that had been arranged for the Acropolis tour was waiting. Because there were only 3 of us we were easily able to navigate through the crowd, find out-of-the-way places to listen to the guide and carry on a conversation with the guide throughout the tour. The guide’s knowledge added a great deal of value to the tour. When we finished at the Acropolis our driver was waiting and we continued to the other sites. Our driver customized the sites we went to to meet our interests. While not a guide at the sites, the driver was able to narrate about Athens as we drove and provide information about the sites. He was professional and knowledgeable. We returned to the port as scheduled before all-aboard time. This tour made the most of our one day in Athens while accommodating our wishes.

We had an excellent tour of the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora with Eleni Maina on 5/28/24. Eleni has an expert level command of Greek history, the Acropolis and the Ancient Agora. Eleni supplemented her comments with prepared visual materials that helped explain the subject matter. Eleni speaks fluent English and she responded directly to each of our many questions. The pace of the tour was comfortable and was adjusted a bit to account for one of our party’s disability. We give Eleni our highest recommendation as a tour guide.
