Had the best time on this horse trek! We were so well taken care of from beginning to end, with a great amount of adventure for anyone seeking it. Everywhere we turned, the scenery just kept getting better. Grateful for the experience & local hospitality along the way. The days were just enough & well worth for its value! A huge thank you to our guide Bek, our horsemen Miki and team, and our driver Jaidar who all looked after us so well throughout. Group size was just nice too! Definitely the highlight of my time in Kyrgyzstan. Would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for beautiful scenery, good company and a proper adventure on horseback!

I had the most amazing experience on this trip! The horses were amazing and handled the tough terrain/river crossings with ease. I travelled with one friend in a group of 12 - everyone was so lovely and made the experience unforgettable. Unbelievably beautiful landscapes, adventurous riding, and amazing hospitality - it truly felt like a once in a lifetime experience. The trip was absolutely incredible!! Our guide Bek was the best ever and was super professional and helpful but also made our group feel like a little family by the end of the trip. The horses are all very well behaved and easy to ride but there are also opportunities for some galloping and adventuring for those more confident. I would recommend to take dry bags incase of rain and very warm clothes for the camping night (my summer sleeping bag was not quite enough). 100% recommend booking with visit alay for future tours, all staff members were amazing including our legendary bus driver.

Overall, I absolutely loved this trip and would recommend it without hesitation. I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences of my entire life and something I will remember forever. Our guide, Tiyer, was incredible. He fit into our group perfectly, was always approachable, and helped and supported us with every little thing along the way. Nothing but love and appreciation for him. I was a solo traveler, with others, and i felt always safe and connected to the group. The landscapes were breathtaking, the camps and yurts were wonderful, the food was great, and the whole experience was truly unforgettable. There is only one thing that has stayed on my mind and that I feel I need to mention as someone who deeply loves animals. I am sharing this not as an accusation, but because I genuinely hope it might contribute to positive change in the future. I understand that horses in Kyrgyzstan are traditionally seen and used as working animals. At the same time, horses are highly sensitive and emotional animals, and I believe their physical and mental well-being deserves a lot of care. During the trip, I personally had the impression that some of the horses were exhausted or overworked. Some seemed very withdrawn, showed little response to human contact, or occasionally appeared reluctant to start walking. Considering the demanding terrain, the steep climbs and descents, the luggage they carry, and the possibility that they may be doing similar routes very frequently, I found myself worrying about whether they receive enough time to rest and recover. Of course, I cannot see what happens behind the scenes, and there may already be measures in place that I am simply not aware of. This is only my personal perception from the trip. One thing I would love to see in the future, if at all possible, would be a system with different groups of horses rotating between tours, allowing them regular periods of proper rest and recovery. I completely understand that keeping additional horses is expensive. Personally, however, I would happily pay more for the experience if I knew that this additional cost helped ensure a higher standard of animal welfare. Tourism is growing all over the world, and whenever animals are part of a tourism experience, I believe we have an even greater responsibility to make sure that growth does not come at their expense. Creating an experience that is sustainable for the animals, the environment, and the people involved would make an already incredible trip even more special. I also want to emphasize that I do not believe this is an issue specific to this agency. It may be a wider challenge for horse trekking tourism in general. I am mentioning it here precisely because I loved this trip so much and because I believe this company has the potential to set a really positive example. If you can continue offering this amazing experience while also developing the highest possible standards for the welfare and recovery of the horses, I truly believe you can become one of the leading agencies for sustainable trekking experiences in Kyrgyzstan. An amazing experience. Kel Suu is beautiful but the highlights were the views along the way and the connections made. Tair was an amazing guide. Food and lodging was great. Unforgettable experience.

An unforgettable experience. The landscapes were absolutely stunning, and every part of the journey was worth it. I also got lucky with an amazing group, which made the whole trip even more fun. Everything was well organized, and I always felt well taken care of. I would definitely do this tour again and can highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kyrgyzstan!

I have no notes, this trip was incredible! Everything I could’ve asked for and more. Our guide - Tair - was perfect. So knowledgeable, fun, and kind. I went with my two best friends but our group was so fun - lots of young solo travelers on It. Every meal we had was amazing. We saw the most breathtaking views in some of the most remote areas of Kyrgyzstan via horseback, we all loved our horses, spent the perfect amount of time on horseback too It wasn’t too much. We went to Kel Suu nice and early on the last day so It wasn’t crowded. Haven’t ridden a horse more than a couple times before this trip and felt so comfortable throughout the whole trek.
