We were picked up from our hotel near Colombo For the 7 hour journey. We paid £285 per person - we were a group of 12. The tour person only spoke to us twice. Once for money for the tolls and again for diesel money. I won't repeat our response. Surely that is included in the cost! I have never been asked for that before. It made a long journey very uncomfortable. We were picked up near the safari site by the safari drivers and from then on the experience was brilliant. The lodges are amazing and the whole safari experience was brilliant and we saw leopards which was amazing. The safari staff were all brilliant and made it a memorable trip. Sadly we then had to endure another 7 hours in a bus with mr happy when it ended. I did complain to the travel organisers viator but so far 3 weeks later have had no reply. To summarise: if you are thinking of doing this safari, book it when you are in Sri Lanka or via asda tours in negombo who did the same experience for £150 per person.

A truly excellent experience with very dedicated staff making sure everything went very smoothly.
The only advice i would give is probably plan the tented part during the cooler months as it was quite hot in late July, they did have a fan and a cooler that made it bearable.
The staff, including the pickup driver were amazing. Everything and more was catered for.I would highly recommend it.

This tour was fantastic! We were picked up in Columbo in a large, air conditioned van. Our driver was wonderful and told us all about Sri Lanka during our drive. We stopped at a spice garden on the way there and a temple on the way home. He personally accompanied us on both stops. The campsite was clean and the staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating and helpful. The food was very good and we got to try some of the local favorites. The tent was clean and comfortable. The two safaris were perfect and our driver was great. He even took my camera and got some great shots of a Leopard when I couldn't see the Leopard myself. I highly recommend this trip for anyone looking for a once in a lifetime experience!

Everything was so organised. Our driver John telephoned a few days beforehand to confirm the time he would be collecting us from the hotel. The journey from our hotel to the campsite was very comfortable in an air conditioned car. The welcome at the campsite was excellent and the two safari trips were excellent. It was an amazing experience 'glamping' under the stars and everyone including the driver, the staff at the camp site and the safari driver were so helpful and friendly. Thank you
