I DON'T REGRET THE LANDSCAPE.... IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN THIS COMPANY, because its infrastructure leaves much to be desired IF YOU DON’T CLAIM FIRMLY, THEY DON’T PROVIDE YOU WITH MANDATORY INSURANCE, OR BILL FOR PAID SERVICE. They tell you that they are authorized operators, but they DO NOT PLACE REGISTRATION/AUTHORIZATION NUMBER as NOR OFFICE ADDRESS TO CLAIM.... Of the full board that they publish (except for a single roast) in the entire journey none of the ELEVEN meals have real nutritional value... (THREE are chopped than by excess salt not suitable for hypertensive.... SIX is two crumb sandwiches with a single feta of cheese and one of salame, ONE is a soup that has no soup and the rest is some small portions of something similar to limestone)..- as for the marching Snacks if you can not consume sugar forget because they do not contemplate it MIX those who go on horseback with those who do tracking and therefore always the danger is always latent... and the difference in attention is catastrophic since without distinction of functions they make everyone get up at 04,00 for those who do tracking go for a walk with all the dangers that comes with doing it without any other light than the flashlight at night and who goes on horseback must wait in the dark and in the open about FOUR hours until they disarm and prepare the fines and upon arriving at the new base ANOTHER FOUR HOURS under the sun ray and in the open to wait put together again the tents... The descent on foot on the Chilean side, they do so at a speed and shape that does not respect the walker’s own pace or the levels of safety they promise... to the point that there were three INJURED / PAINED who upon arrival were forced to move in the back of a van (it is prohibited by law)
If you’re looking for a full day of an authentic Argentinian experience, this is it. Joaquin picked us up at the hotel in the morning and drove ua to the ranch. Not only was he kind, but so knowledgeable and answered any and every question we had. We arrived to the ranch and were greeted with fresh pastries that were being cooked over an open fire, tea, and honey made right on the ranch. We then were fitted with our horses and were on our way. I’m not someone who has a lot of riding experience and I felt safe and comfortable with my horse. The day was exceptional. A once in a lifetime experience riding through the Andes with a guide. After 3 hours of riding, we returned to the ranch for a traditional asada meal. We ate and drank local wine with them as the sun started to come out. Joaquin was an exceptional translator. It was so unique to experience a day with locals in that way. It was everything we wanted it to be and more. I can’t recommend this adventure more.
Thank you so much for such a beautiful review. It was a real pleasure spending the day with you and sharing a bit of our life here in the Andes. I’m really happy to hear how much you enjoyed the whole experience — from the ride to the food. Thank you as well for your kindness, the great conversations, and the energy you brought to the day. You’ll always be welcome back whenever you return to Mendoza — the mountains and the horses will be waiting. Warm regards
It was absolutely stunning. Tim was a very attentive guide. One tip, trust your horse and enjoy. This is the unique experience that you never forget
Amazing experience and definitely one of the best activities of our trip! The experience is very authentic and you also get a good chance to appreciate the beautiful landscape of the Andes mountains. The horses were calm and easy to ride even for someone with no experience. Our guide Pablo was extremely helpful as was our host Daniel. I would definetely it!
Amazing experience through the landscape of the Andes with a very good and helpful guide. The views from the mountains are magnificent. The experience is very authentic.
The authenticity of the experience, from driving through the mountains, arriving at the ranch, interacting with the gauchos and animals, was out of this world. The horses were well-trained, and our tour guide, Tim, was knowledgeable and always prioritized our safety. TheAsado was phenomenal. Ascending into the mountains was a heavenly feeling.
Really great service with pick up and return from our hotel. This is a family owned small real working ranch. The owner and his family care for and saddle every horse in preparation for the ride. The horses are well mannered and will follow the guide without problems. Don’t mistake this as a boring trail ride. We are experienced riders and the terrain would be extremely difficult even for experienced riders without well trained horses. The views are absolutely incredible and cannot be accurately captured in photos. This is a real adventure! The BBQ was the best meat we had during our 2 week trip to Argentina and it was cooked on the ground next to an open fire. Don’t be put off by the long drive of 1.5 hours outside the city. It is well worth the drive and very scenic along the way.
An amazing experience. The views were stunning and the food was incredible. Our guide was so friendly and informative and Daniel was so kind. It was one of the highlights of our time in Argentina!
Incredible service and experience! They pick you up from hotel, drive you all the way to base of Andes, and give you breakfast, a horseback tour with incredible views, the best bbq cooked over fire in the mountains and then drive you all the way back to hotel. They are all super nice and went out of there way to accolade us. My wife is gluten free and we stopped at a grocery store to make sure we picked up necessary food. 100% would recommend!
The sunset horseback ride with Destino Montana was incredible. It was easy to coordinate, the staff were all friendly and Joaquin shared a lot of knowledge and laughs. I’ve only rode a horse once before and they made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend getting the bbq as well. It was simple ingredients of high quality so tasted amazing. The views were stunning, like nothing I’ve seen and very impressive since we started higher up in the Andes front range. Having a real gaucho on the ride made it extra special. Top travel experience!!!
