Il vulcano Pacaya è uno dei vulcani più attivi e accessibili del Guatemala, situato a circa un'ora a sud di Città del Guatemala. Si eleva a oltre 2.500 metri ed è noto per frequenti colate di lava, bocche di vapore e attività di cenere vulcanica. I visitatori possono fare escursioni su campi di lava indurita e talvolta vedere lava incandescente, a seconda dell'attività corrente. It was well worth the hike, our tour guide Guy, did an excellent job, very knowledgeable. Very prepared, hats, shirts, pizza toppings, & rain gear. I will be telling everyone about my experience. Yimi who took us to Parqueo Pepe Volcan Pacaya for some pizza was absolutely amazing. The pizza was better than I expected. I highly recommend this tour

The hike up Pacaya wasn’t as challenging as we thought it would be, and completely worth it. Eating pizza cooked by the volcano’s heat at the top felt like a reward you can’t get anywhere else. Guy kept the group motivated with jokes and fascinating stories about the volcano.
