We’ll visit oil factory, near Sorrento, you’ll going to visit the garden, see how they produce the oil and tasting with Pizza bread all the kind of extra vergin oil that they produce. After that we’ll move to a beautiful winery at feet of Mount Vesuvius where you will have lunch and wine tasting. You will try 6 kind of the local wine production, one Gran Riserva and Dessert spumante and distillate of apricot. All of this while haveing your lunch with an appetizers. Then you will eat fresh made pasta Setaro cooked with extra vergin olive oil, fresh cherry tomatoes and basel; at the end typical Neapolitan cake (pastiera) for enjoy the 2 kind of dessert wine. During the day we'll visit a typical lemon grove, this is the classic "Pergolato Sorrentino", very hard to preserve. you will have the privilege to taste the real limoncello and learn the true recipe of this liquor from a family of limoncello producers.

After lunch we’ll stop in a limoncello factory to be able to visit a lemon grove and the production of the Limoncello.

We did a day-long enogastronomic tour with Gianluca's agency and it was absolutely incredible! It just so happened that Gianluca's driver called in sick last minute, so he himself showed up (on-time!) and did the entire day tour with us. He was such a pleasure to interact with and he helped make the tour such a fantastic day. Everywhere we went, he made sure we were well-received and taken care of and in-between stops, he showed us local stops and points of interest we would have otherwise missed. Gianluca was responsive, professional, respectful, and a great person to spend the day with experiencing the all the best that the Amalfi Coast has to offer! I have been using Private Day Tours since 2015. I have never been disappointed in the service. Gianluca responds quickly to requests, and always open to my itineraries, as well as suggesting itineraries. His drivers are professional, polite, prompt, and speak excellent English. Our party of 7 enjoyed a beautiful day with Private Day Tours on this Enogastromic Tour! There would have been no way for us to cover all the ground we did, and taste all that we did, without Private Day Tours and our favorite driver, Lello! At each stop along the way, you are made to feel like you are a special guest and that is, no doubt, because of the relationships that have exist between Gianluca and the people who run the experiences. We tasted so many olive oils (more than we ever could have imagined existed); strolled through the olive grove and learned about production; visited the wine vineyard and enjoyed several varieties of wine while eating a delicious lunch on a patio with a view of Mt. Vesuvius. Our day long adventure and feast ended at a family-run limoncello factory where the owner took us into his private garden and taught us how to make limoncello. And don't miss his pistachio jelly! Don't try to drive yourself to these wonderful experiences; sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride and all the food!!!
