Le nostre guide sono certificate Advanced Master Naturalists e nativi della Florida meridionale che hanno pagaiato la maggior parte della loro vita e guidato tour per oltre 15 anni. Siamo appassionati di istruzione e protezione dei bellissimi ecosistemi della Florida. I nostri gruppi sono piccoli di solito 10 ospiti o meno che forniscono un'esperienza personale. Gruppi più piccoli aumentano anche le possibilità di osservare una varietà di fauna selvatica da una distanza più ravvicinata. Itinerario
Il nostro viaggio inizia con una breve istruzione e un briefing sulla sicurezza mentre ci prepariamo a fare kayak attraverso sentieri incontaminati di mangrovie. Inizieremo la nostra pagaia in una caletta baia isolata che permetterà un'ampia pratica prima di uscire. Pagaia attraverso tortuosi tunnel di mangrovie e osserva gli uccelli autoctoni e altre specie selvatiche, tra cui molte specie in via di estinzione, nel loro habitat naturale. Le condizioni in questa zona sono generalmente tranquille e offrono un'esperienza piacevole. Una volta prenotato, ti contatteremo e risponderemo a qualsiasi domanda tu possa avere.

This was a master class in the flora and fauna of this part of Florida. Our guide was very informative and engaging with our tons of questions about the plants, birds etc in this area. It's so great to learn of the history of this park and how the ocean ecosystem interacts with it all. If you want to be outside, get some exercise and do a deep dive on local waterline, this is the tour for you.

The guide was amazing. very patient, helping us all to get into our kayaks. She was very knowledgeable about everything and explained thing very clearly. The tour was just the right length and and a nice pace. Definitely a must do.

When I booked this Salty Souls trip, I was looking for something unobtrusive (kayaks not big boats) and informative. This trip was more remarkable than I had realized because 1. Ariana is an amazing naturalist guide willing to impart a wealth of knowledge about the special nature of this place and 2. The tour location is a county park that excludes motorcraft and is in an area unaffected by the engineering feats that have wrecked the filtering work of the mangrove ecosystem—things I didn’t know when I booked. Our small group got to paddle through the peace and wonder of this mangrove habitat, an amazing opportunity, and Ariana helped us spot plants and wildlife I would have missed. She took great pictures, too, which she shared with us—so we weren’t in danger of losing our phones forever if we dropped them in the murk! The tour helped me, a first-time visitor to Florida, appreciate the uniqueness of this special part of the country.

Such a fun experience with our five year old. We saw so many sea creatures that Ariana went out of her way to find and tell us about! Beautiful day and such a fun learning experience! Highly recommend! Ariana is so knowledgeable, was so great with our daughter, and also sent us a bunch of pictures at the end of the day. We will be back!
