So I’m not one to usually write reviews but felt compelled because my husband and I spent lots of money (almost $300) for reservations for the dinner cruise and went for our last night in Paris while on vacation. While the food was wonderful, the service itself was not as great. Other couples seated around us were receiving good service: wine refilled constantly, their plates being carried away quickly, and even had their photos taken and were offered printed copies. However, my husband and I did not receive any of the above. We were pouring our own drinks, plates sat on the table while the next courses were being served to us still, and we were never offered any photocopies of the pictures taken although it was done for each couple in the area. My husband and I are part of LGBTQ community, and while I am not certain that would have anything to do with it, it wouldn’t be the first time we were looked over. The cruise itself is lovely and is a nice way to start your trip or even recap as you peruse the Seine. Just wanted to share our experience especially for other LGBTQ couples looking to do something special, maybe skip dinner and just do the tour instead.
We were very disappointed. It was expensive and we were not crazy about the food. It would have been nice to have had some narration even if they were headphones. I would not recommend this activity and would not do it again.
I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Helussi in Paris. It’s a charming, intimate hotel that is exceptionally clean and very well maintained. The breakfast was delicious, with a great selection to start the day. The location is excellent—close to the city center and convenient for exploring Paris. What truly made the stay special was the incredibly friendly and welcoming staff. They were always helpful, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I highly recommend Hotel Helussi to anyone looking for a comfortable, cozy, and welcoming place to stay in Paris.
This was a lovely tour! The views were fabulous, the boat was comfortable, and the food was DELICIOUS! We did the premiere window service and it’s worth EVERY penny! My only complaints that knock down a star is that the whole experience felt very rushed and I would have enjoyed a more leisurely, longer ride down the river. As we got on board and sat at our table, we were immediately asked what our orders would be (you do get to view the menu ahead of time while waiting to load the boat.) While service was prompt and very polite, we both finished our appetizers before even leaving the dock. Everything felt much more leisurely by the time we finished our main dishes, but at that point the tour was over halfway done. So, while I do understand logistics of serving a three-course meal in an hour and 15 minutes is tricky, I would have loved a two hour tour so everything could slow down and feel more relaxed.
Highly recommend this Seine River dinner cruise. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner while looking at many beautiful Paris sights from the river. One of the highlights of our family trip.
Lovely way to see Paris , different perspective from the water. Food was really nice and the whole experience was amazing
The service and food were excellent. Boat is very nice and decor well maintained. A nice experience, just the right amount of time to enjoy the evening sail!
Yes it sounds pricey, but it was worth it. Very nice clean boat with spotless large viewing windows. A table next to the window was ideal. A bit confusing finding the correct check-in spot (voucher said go to port 5 or 7 but there was no one working at port 5). Food was surprisingly good, boat departed and returned on schedule. You only get to choose one option for a bottle of wine per table (red or white). You cannot each choose red or white and the itinerary said you could choose champagne or kir as an aperitif but they only brought champagne. And the description said tea or coffee as available but they did not serve it until about 5 minutes from docking and the tea was served in a soup bowl not a teacup (no handle) so it was too hot to pick up without burning your fingers. Despite the few glitches, I recommend this trip.
Great food and service but very rushed at 6.15 sitting. Would have been much better experience if more relaxed. Appreciate a later sailing to reset for, but could start earlier.
We thought it would be just a so so cruise. But the food and service was top notch. So kind for my mom that was in her wheelchair, easy access and excursion for her.
