Scopri la nuova capitale del Tagikistan Dushanbe e l'antica città Hissar. Oggi andrai alla fortezza di Hisar (secoli VII-XVII), che dista 35 km dalla città. Ci sono aree fortificate e una cittadella in questo sito storico. La fortezza fungeva da residenza dell'emiro di Bukhara. La sua posizione era su un'alta collina e le feritoie dei cannoni proteggevano un muro di 1 metro. All'interno della fortezza c'era un giardino e, di fronte, un vivace mercato con caravanserraglio e botteghe. Dopo visiterai le principali attrazioni di Dushanbe: Museo Nazionale, Moschea, Bazar, Piazza dell'Indipendenza.

Itinerario
Il nostro tour della città inizierà con la visita alla Fortezza di Hissor, uno dei principali monumenti storici del paese, a circa mezz'ora di macchina dalla città. La fortezza fu costruita circa 3000 anni fa, durante il periodo di massimo splendore, quando le rotte della Grande Via della Seta passavano vicino a Hissar. La Fortezza Hissar è uno dei monumenti architettonici più antichi e più grandi dell'Asia centrale. Ora è un museo a cielo aperto con una superficie di 86 ettari, situato sul sito di un antico insediamento. Si trova a 30 km dalla capitale del Tagikistan. Per molto tempo, la fortezza di Hissar è stata la residenza del governatore dell'emiro di Bukhara. Ad oggi, rimangono solo due torri cilindriche e strutture attorno alla porta principale, che formano un arco a sesto acuto, e costruite su istruzioni dell'emiro di Bukhara nel XVI secolo.
Il Museo è orgoglioso di possedere reperti dell'Eneolitico e dell'età del bronzo provenienti dall'insediamento agricolo di Sarazm, un sito incluso nella lista del patrimonio mondiale dell'UNESCO. I reperti risalenti al periodo ellenistico provenienti dal Tempio di Oxus scavati nel sito di Takht-i Sangin sulle rive del fiume Amu Darya sono unici. Il pezzo forte del museo è il "Buddha nel Nirvana", una statua di argilla alta quasi 13 metri, che oggi è uno dei più grandi monumenti antichi del buddismo nel mondo.
Dopo aver visitato il Mehrgon Bazar. Mehrgon è un nuovo e moderno mercato alimentare a Dushanbe, la capitale del Tagikistan, inaugurato nel settembre 2014. La superficie totale del mercato è di circa 30mila metri quadrati.
Prosegui verso Piazza Dusti, situata nel centro di Dushanbe, il cuore della capitale e dell'intero Tagikistan. Il suo nome è tradotto come "Piazza dell'Amicizia". Tuttavia, la gente del posto chiama questo luogo “Monumento di Ismail Somoni” o “Parco Somoni” poiché vi si trova un monumento al fondatore dello stato tagico Ismail Somoni. L'imponente monumento a Ismail Somoni, alto 13 m, è l'attrazione caratteristica della piazza Dusti. Un bellissimo arco (oltre 43 m) sorregge il monumento.

Very enjoyable day with Dilik. We had a terrific day engaging with the history, architecture, and culture of Tajikistan. It’s a super tour that allows travelers to see a cross-section of Dushanbe monuments and the Hisar (Hissar or Hisor) fortress and madrasa. We were also able to squeeze in the Imam Abu Hanifa Cathedral Mosque, which was exquisite. Dilik is a professional and took great care of us. We recommend this tour for anyone staying in Dushanbe and wants to see and learn more about regional history.
The Hisor Fortress is a site that must be visited if you go to Dushanbe. It is not far and you can go by taxi at a better price than what I paid for this excursion, which was a total disappointment. The fortress is small and then I visited some points in the city; in my case, I was traveling alone and the guide was hitting on me, which meant that I did not feel comfortable and I canceled the Iskanderkul excursion with this agency the next day. I find it very unprofessional for a guide to hit on a traveler; I would not recommend the excursion because it is cheaper by taxi and it is not difficult at all.
The city is clean and beautiful with lovely parks and flowers (late May) but who wants to see only old statues and memorials?? Many Cafes and restaurants but unfortunately it was Eid holiday that day and everything was closed , couldnt even exchange money as banks were closed. Restaurants dont accept cards or dollars, only local currency. we had to borrow from our kind guide. The museum visit was boring!! Most Tajik museums are not well presented although the content is pretty ok. Toilets are horrible although you pay to use- dirty and stinking!! Hissar fortress is a good place to visit ..but not in summer!! the best thing about Dushanbe are the friendly locals!

Dilik was my tour guide and gave me a very detailed overview of Dushanbe and Hisor, while showing me the main highlights of both. He was on time and drove safely. Overall a great intro to Dushanbe. The next day I also took a transfer to Samarkand with them which went smoothly. Recommended!

I really had a great day with Dilik who knew every details of every corner we’ve visited, I had to learn a lot about the country and its history. We started by visiting hissar fortress and then went around Dushanbe. He also took me to a nice local place for lunch where I have tried Kurutob. I really recommend this day trip !
