Durazzo/Golem : Tour di un giorno del Montenegro, Budva e Sveti Stefan

This excursion is highly unrecommended in August! 20 hours out from 5 in the morning until midnight, of which 15 hours were on the bus in immense traffic. The guide Valeria was very good and professional

You spend more time on the bus than in Montenegro, I understand the traffic, but the only thing they could tell me is that it is August and I have to understand the traffic. They give you a pickup time that is not respected, the guide is non-existent because the microphone is broken and the few pieces of information that are provided are barely understandable. But the real problem is the driver's driving, who in addition to going against traffic to pass a car even hit a barrier. The only positive thing is the low price for the trip.

It was a really good experience en we saw everything we wanted. Also the boat trip was a fun extra!

I had a fantastic day trip to Montenegro with Claudia. She is knowledgeable, friendly, and represents Albanian culture and values beautifully. She shared so many interesting things about both Albania and Montenegro, and her great sense of humor made the whole trip even more enjoyable. What impressed me even more is that Claudia is studying medicine while also working in tourism — a true reflection of how hardworking and ambitious she is. She genuinely deserves all the support and success! Big credit also to Vladimir, our driver — such a nice and friendly guy who made the journey smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended! 🇦🇱🇲🇪

We booked a day trip from Shkëmbi i Kavajës, Durrës, Albania, to Montenegro, and it was an excellent experience. The company provided convenient hotel pickup for our group of eight, transport to the main bus, and a return transfer. All drivers were professional, friendly, and spoke good English. Our guide, Valeria, was outstanding—knowledgeable, well organised, and easy to communicate with. She prepared us for possible traffic jams and shared interesting insights about the regions, history, and culture along the way. In Budva, she guided us through the Old Town, pointed out key sights, and gave helpful recommendations for food and activities, while also assisting those on boat tours. Overall, the trip was very well organised, and Valeria’s professionalism made it especially memorable. Highly recommended. Faleminderit që ishe një guidë turistike kaq e mrekullueshme, Valeria!

The tour is a good way of seeing some of Albania and Montenegro, both very beautiful, at a decent price. Be aware though that there is a lot of time spent on the bus and very little time in Budva - and none at Sveti Stefan except for getting out of the bus on the roadside to take pictures. So if you’re interested in experiencing more than taking pictures, this tour is probably not what you’re looking for. It was very rushed and the guide repeatedly requested being on time, but the schedule for the day was very unclear. We stopped for lunch already 10:30, 30 minutes after our coffee break and then not for three hours… Note that the pickup in Durres was already at 5:15 and we arrived in Budva at 2pm with 2 hours of eating, walking in the old town and swimming. The guide was super friendly but did not give a lot of information (she almost apologized for doing guide stuff…). Would also have been nicer if she did not just read from at paper! The trip was still not bad and we’re happy we came! It just needed better organizing and more guidance.

Montenegro is beautiful but didn't really feel like we had much time to explore. Spent about 10 hours traveling for just a couple of hours in Budva. We felt the itinerary was a little misleading and give the idea you stop at the beach for an hour or so...then move onto the town and another stop, but really the beach and town is the same stop. We ran out of time to see and enjoy the beach (by the time we walked to old town, had much and did a walk round the town it was time to head back to the bus) and never saw the final stop of the Church. Wish we could have actually gone to Sveti Stefan but only was from a high up view point. Our guide Valerie however was good, very friendly but unfortunately the tour group was difficult and many people didn't listen to her which caused delays. She did a great job of keeping them under control. Well done Valerie! I'm glad we did the tour but I think the best way to see Montenegro is go for a couple days and explore yourself

Got picked up at 5.15am and after a 40 minute coffee stop after crossimg the Albania/croatia border we arrived in Montenegro at 1.05pm. We then had a couple of hors to look around before picking up the bus again at 3.30pm. Anna, the tour guide was great, as was our bus driver. A long day for a couple of hours. If you have limited time in albania I would suggest seeing more of that country instead - unless you really wa t a fleeting visit to Montenegro.

The pick ups were very messy and time consuming - but otherwise we’re having a great time. Ana and driver good, friendly and informative. It’s a long drive for a short stop - we know what we signed up for, but it’s something to know before you book! The old town in Montenegro was beautiful and the scenery along the way good too
