La Grande Fontana di Onofrio è un importante punto di riferimento a Dubrovnik, in Croazia, ed è anche un punto d'incontro per il nostro tour gastronomico. Situata all'ingresso del centro storico di Dubrovnik, vicino alla Porta Pile, questa grande fontana circolare è un notevole esempio dell'infrastruttura storica e della grandezza architettonica della città. Stradun, conosciuta anche come Placa, è la strada principale di Dubrovnik ed è considerata l'ancora di salvezza della città. Questa arteria pedonale lastricata in pietra calcarea si estende per circa 300 metri, collegando due porte della città, la Porta di Pile a ovest e la Porta di Ploče a est, e attraversa il cuore del centro storico di Dubrovnik, protetto dall'UNESCO.

Truly an amazing experience, the tour guide Anna was so knowledgeable about the city. It was like two tours in one, she talked about the vast history of Dubrovnik while also taking us to some amazing eateries. The food was delicious and the wine was plentiful. I'm not sure if we lucked out or if all of her tours are as intimate as ours was but it was just my partner and I and two others (whom we made quick friends with), but it added to the tour in my opinion. Anna got to know us all on a more personal level and it was just an overall 10/10 experience. I say if you're looking to book any tour this is the one to pick.
This tour is exceptional. We ate at 3 different restaurants inside old Dubrovnik and one dessert place. Our guide was super knowledgeable about the area, food and traditions. We were the only two only the tour so we essentially had a private tour. Grateful to try local dishes steeped in rich tradition. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

Our food tour in Dubrovnik was truly exceptional and one of the highlights of our trip! Our guide, Senija, grew up inside the city walls and shared her personal experience of being a little girl living through Croatia’s fight for independence. Hearing the history of Dubrovnik from someone who actually lived it made the city come alive in a way we never could have experienced on our own. The food and wine were just as memorable. Every stop felt purposeful—everything we ate and drank was thoughtfully chosen and beautifully crafted, with a story and connection to Croatian culture behind it. This wasn’t simply a food tour; it was an experience of Dubrovnik through its people, history, food and traditions. Senija was warm, knowledgeable and an incredible storyteller. We walked away with full stomachs, but more importantly, a much deeper appreciation for Dubrovnik and its history. If you are visiting Dubrovnik, this tour is an absolute must! 🇭🇷❤️

The food and history tour with Ana was a true highlight of our time in Croatia! She is an absolute wealth of knowledge and brought the history to life in such an engaging way.
