Con oltre 10 degustazioni e tre vini locali abbinati in tutto, proverete ricette cucinate ancora oggi nelle case di Dubrovnik, alcune preparate solo in giorni specifici dell'anno, e piatti radicati nella tradizione del XVI e XIX secolo dell'epoca della Repubblica di Dubrovnik. La Grande Fontana di Onofrio è un importante punto di riferimento a Dubrovnik, in Croazia, ed è anche un punto d'incontro per il nostro tour gastronomico. Situata all'ingresso del centro storico di Dubrovnik, vicino alla Porta Pile, questa grande fontana circolare è un notevole esempio dell'infrastruttura storica e della grandezza architettonica della città. Costruita nel 1438 dal famoso ingegnere italiano Onofrio della Cava, la fontana faceva parte di un complesso sistema di approvvigionamento idrico che portava l'acqua da un pozzo situato a oltre 7 miglia di distanza. Nonostante i danni causati da un terremoto nel 1667 e dalla guerra d'indipendenza croata negli anni '90, la fontana è stata ben restaurata e continua a fungere da fonte d'acqua pubblica funzionale, offrendo un fresco ristoro sia alla gente del posto che ai turisti.

Stradun, conosciuta anche come Placa, è la strada principale di Dubrovnik ed è considerata l'ancora di salvezza della città. Questa arteria pedonale lastricata in pietra calcarea si estende per circa 300 metri, collegando due porte della città, la Porta di Pile a ovest e la Porta di Ploče a est, e attraversa il cuore del centro storico di Dubrovnik, protetto dall'UNESCO.
La Colonna di Orlando, conosciuta come "Colonna di Orlando" o "Colonna di Roland" a Dubrovnik, è un importante punto di riferimento storico situato nel cuore del centro storico della città. Eretta nel 1418, la colonna presenta una statua del cavaliere medievale Orlando (o Roland), una figura leggendaria che incarna la libertà e la fortezza di Dubrovnik. Local, authentic and insert here all the other buzzword. There is a bit of walking but not much. Food was great. Guide was great. If you get Ana you will be very lucky - she is very knowledgeable, empathic and authentic. You will also get suggestions for other places. If somebody says - you will get more if you just go around and do it yourselves - then you don't understand what is the value of this tour. We get very personal and detailed explanations and you literally ask about anything. This was one of our trips highlight and I regret that we didn't start with it.

a lot of delicious and unique food with stories behind it - focused on local ingredients, with 3 healthy pours of wine and a shot of local liqueur at the end. definitely didn’t leave hungry!!
