Itinerario
Iniziamo dalla fontana di Amerling, la posizione è Brsalje 2, vicino al negozio di articoli da regalo Dubravka, fuori dalle mura della città vecchia. La guida avrà un ombrello blu.
Prendiamo i gradini delle mura cittadine all'ingresso ovest (attraverso la fontana di Onofrio). La nostra prima tappa è proprio sopra la strada principale da dove avrete la vista migliore. La tua guida ti introdurrà alla ricca storia della città.
Il punto chiave di difesa dell'ingresso occidentale della città. Splendida vista su Fort Lawrence.
La sezione meridionale del muro. Fortezza rotonda. Punto di difesa tra la Torre Bokar e la Fortezza di San Giovanni contro possibili pericoli dal mare.
La Fortezza di San Giovanni sul lato sud-est del porto della Città Vecchia ne controlla e protegge l'ingresso.
Fu costruito per rafforzare il punto vulnerabile delle fortificazioni cittadine. Maggiore protezione dai turchi.
Il punto più prominente nel sistema di difesa verso la terra. Per la sua altezza e il suo volume impressionante la parte alta nord-occidentale della città e delle mura.

We had an amazing time visiting the City Walls of Dubrovnik! Everything was fantastic, and Anne Femica (Femi) was an incredible guide. She explained everything so clearly, shared lots of interesting information, and even took some great photos of us. She was so kind and helpful throughout the whole visit. We absolutely loved the experience and highly recommend it!
Great tour for all the family. We had a fantastic tour of the Dubrovnik city walls with Daniela from GetYourGuide. It was myself, my husband and our two teenage daughters, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide was excellent — really personable, engaging and incredibly knowledgeable. She brought the history of Dubrovnik to life and taught us so much, not just from the historical facts but also through her own first-hand experiences and stories of life in the city. It made walking the walls so much more meaningful and gave us a real insight into Dubrovnik’s history and culture. The tour was informative and relaxed. The guide Jelena was very attentive and clear! She tells the history like a story and makes everyone understand the changes that took place in this region. It is nice to do it in the afternoon, when it is not so hot.

I can really recommend this! There were no signs on the city wall in English informing you around history, so it is crucial to have a guide if you want to learn more about Dubrovnik. We also got the chance to put as many questions we wanted and we learnt a lot around daily life in Dubrovnik both today and in the past. We got good recommendations as well. In short - a great tour!

We had the most amazing experience touring the Dubrovnik City walls with Desa! Her deep knowledge, engaging storytelling, and passion for the city’s history brought every step of the tour to life. Although my family is from Dubrovnik and I’ve walked the walls before, this was the first time I joined a guided tour-mainly because I had a group of friends visiting for the first time. We took the 2 hour sunset tour with Michaela purchased through GetYourGuide . She paced the tour so that we had ample time to rest after the intermittent uphill stairs along the wall and provided interesting history about Dubrovnik and Croatia including personal notes. It was a very enjoyable tour and a highlight of our trip to Croatia.

Our tour guide Daniel was an absolute gem. She wasn’t only interesting but took an interest in everyone in our small group. She shared some fascinating information as well as a bit of a tear jerker of her own family’s experiences. I would highly recommend this tour.
