If you are in Dubai, you must do it. We took the safari from our hotel where they came and pick us up. They (safari vehicles) are always moves in convoy of around 30-50 vehicles at a time. On the way to desert safari, they have a pit stop at a shop and there is extra chargable bike ATV ride for around 30 mins, post which again big SUV will come and pick you up for desert safari which last for around 1 hour cruising in the sand . Up and down ,twist and turn and all vehicles move in synchronus to each other. They also reduce some air from tyre for more grip and all the SUV's have extra frame to support the roof just in case if topple upside down. After which we have barque dinner at the sand where nice bally dance show you can enjoy while having dinner.
