Parti per un'avventura avvincente attraverso il Parco Nazionale della Svizzera Sassone! Rilassati nel nostro confortevole minivan con aria condizionata e prelievo diretto dall'hotel a Dresda. Mentre facciamo un viaggio panoramico lungo il drammatico Canyon dell'Elba verso l'iconico Ponte Bastei, la tua Guida ti svelerà le storie e i segreti che rendono questa regione così indimenticabile.
Il momento clou della mattinata è il famoso Ponte Bastei. Dal suo punto di osservazione sopra il Canyon dell'Elba, godrai di viste panoramiche a dir poco spettacolari: il luogo perfetto per catturare ricordi e foto da custodire.
La nostra avventura continua oltre l'iconico ponte Bastei fino alla magnifica fortezza Neurathen, uno spettacolo accattivante immerso nel paesaggio di arenaria. Preparati a rimanere incantato da un'altra splendida prospettiva del ponte Bastei e della valle circostante con il teatro della foresta. La fortezza di Neurathen offre molto più che semplici panorami. Ci addentreremo nell'era medievale, esplorando i resti della roccaforte che un tempo ospitava vigili guardie. Ma non è tutto! Preparatevi per un affascinante viaggio indietro nel tempo mentre scopriamo tesori archeologici risalenti a 100 milioni di anni fa, quando la regione era sommersa da un vasto mare.
Dopo aver esplorato il ponte Bastei e la fortezza di Neurathen, intraprenderemo un viaggio panoramico attraverso il canyon del fiume Elba fino alla parte ceca del Parco Nazionale, la Svizzera boema. Il nostro percorso si snoderà attraverso incantevoli villaggi come Bad Schandau e Hřensko, permettendovi di immergervi nella bellezza dell'architettura della regione. Terremo d'occhio anche lo storico ascensore che porta alla torre di osservazione, detentore del Guinness World Record per essere l'ascensore più antico del suo genere. Navigheremo anche verso la Porta Pravčická, un arco naturale in arenaria considerato il simbolo iconico della Svizzera boema.
Ora devi ricaricare le batterie, quindi la prossima tappa sarà un ristorante tradizionale ceco e rinomato a livello locale. Un ricco pranzo “a la carte” sarà una gradita e meritata ricompensa. Daniel was our guide his English was very good and he was very kind. The hike was very intense for me but most of the group did great. It was a very steep incline for 15-30 minutes. The scenery was absolutely beautiful.

I highly recommend this tour. It was such a special day and a real highlight of my overseas trip. Milan & Dalibora were excellent and the national park was stunning. While I enjoyed all the museums, galleries and palaces I went to in my trip, getting out into such a beautiful unspoilt natural setting with such incredible views & history was something that I won’t forget. The river boat also was exceptional—and lots of fun—headed by a young guide who did a great job explaining the surrounding gorge area as well as keeping us entertained. And capped off by a beautiful lunch overlooking paddocks & mountains. It’s an easy drive over the border to Czechia from Dresden and well worth doing.

It was a nice break from all the cities I've been visiting. I did have leg/knee issue the night before and after reading the reviews, I opted out of the gorge/boat part. Glad I did as fully functional people had difficulty climbing out the steep incline! Barbara did a great job accommodating me and skipping the gorge. The guide didn't know very much other than what you could have freely read about on your own. Replied more times than not, "I don't really know". Driver was good and cheerful. It was expensive transportation mostly.

This truly was such a wonderful day. Milan & Dalibora were exceptional, friendly, informative & really made the day memorable. The sights we saw in Saxony Switzerland were incredible & every one of them was a highlight. The lunch was very good, with great views to the mountains. It was an excellent escape from museum days in Dresden. The tour itself is well organized, everything on time, food was good. All as advertised.Our guide Daniel and driver-guide Vojta showed us the best places being very polite, helpful and just nice young gentlemen. Many thanks to Daniel and Vojta. From our experience: this tour is challenging for seniors( we are 71 and 73 yo). It was slippery on the way up and down. It took us half an our to get down to the river, and a little more time to go up the steep hill. We are glad we did it and are proud of ourselves. So if you are reasonably fit we absolutely recommend this tour

Make sure you’re up for a couple of challenging hikes and dress correctly—good, nonslip shoes, rain gear if that’s in the forecast (I can’t imagine doing the hikes we did, if it had been raining—it was already slippery in dry weather), wear layers if it gets too hot (it did for us). Be prepared for a long day. The scenery was beyond amazing—very beautiful and so worth the long day. The drive from Dresden to the Czech Republic was lovely, so much to see. Our first stop at the Bastei Bridge, was spectacular—indescribably breathtaking views. Our lunch was really good, great menu choices and much needed after the second stop, where we made the steep hike down to the river canyon for the boat ride and the exhausting (for us) trip back up. The next and final stop to the “sandstone park” was really interesting—the grounds were once an ancient sea and the resulting sandstone formations were so unique due to weathering and the passage of time. This place was also a bit of a hike, slippery due to sand, rocks and fallen leaves—need to be aware, but it’s a truly enjoyable and like nothing I’ve ever seen. Our guides, Barbara & Milan, were very friendly and informative—we were impressed at their knowledge desire to create a memorable trip for us.

It was perfect, I recommend this to everyone. A super chauffeur and guide who really take care of you and help you with everything. They make sure everyone feels included, and I always felt safe and comfortable. Not only were they professional, but also very friendly and approachable. Honestly, it felt more like traveling with friends than just a tour. We visited amazing places I loved every second of it. Even the drive between the places is so amazing and beautiful.
