I was drawn to this experience because it left the decision of choosing a play to a local that had some familiarity with the theaters and their current showings. It was worth trying and I might consider doing it again.

Trusting Amanda to plan our night out was one of the best decisions I ever made! I left the details entirely up to her, from choosing the play to picking a restaurant for a post-show meal, and everything was spot on. My friend and I had an unforgettable evening with Amanda as our guide. We kicked things off with the Off-Broadway play The Big Gay Jamboree, which was hilarious! We were laughing so hard that my jaws literally hurt by the end—such a fun, lighthearted, and joyful performance. Amanda’s choice of show was perfect, and her passion for theater added so much to our enjoyment. Afterward, we strolled just a few steps (seriously, like 600 feet!) to a fantastic nearby restaurant Amanda had picked out for us. The food was phenomenal, and the cozy, convenient spot was ideal for diving into a lively discussion about the play. Amanda led the conversation with such insight and humor, making the entire night feel special and memorable. I can’t recommend Amanda and her Drama and Discourse experience enough. What can I say? My experience with Mandee was just amazing. I took my husband to this theater experience in New York, and neither of us are big theater buffs. We've only seen a few major Broadway shows, so this was really new for us. We went in with no expectations, and it turned out to be a blast. When we arrived, Mandee greeted us warmly and shared some interesting history about the venue and New York City’s theater scene . After that, we settled in to watch the play- “The Void” and it was fantastic. Once the play ended, we headed to a near by spot for drinks where we talked about the play and our interpretations of it. Mandee was so easygoing and approachable, making everyone feel relaxed and fun. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone—whether you’re a theater lover or just starting out. Don’t miss out on this opportunity!

Mandy was such a great person to connect with. She met us at the theater had our tickets ready and the show was funny and fun. After ee went to get a drink at a near by restaurant we had a blast talking about our interpretations. It was great would recommend 👌

Don’t hesitate when it comes to trying this experience! I had the best time with Mande watching an interesting and impressive off off broadway play in New York. Mandee gave me choices of plays beforehand so I could choose what I wanted to see - loved that! She was welcoming and considerate throughout and the conversations at dinner after the show were one of my absolute highlights during my visit here. It’s so unique and precious to experience art together with someone you don’t know and be able to discuss your ideas and impressions afterwards. Highly recommend this experience for everyone but for solo travelers especially. What a wonderful night!

I cannot begin to tell you how amazing this experience was!! The excitement of having a show picked out for you by someone as experienced as Mandee was part of the thrill. The show was a very intimate setting and was so thought provoking and tugged at my emotions. I liked going to shows and the fact that we all were able to discuss our different views and what we heard and saw was very interesting. Mandee even picked out an amazing place to eat for discussion!! I highly recommend this experience and will be back to experience more and to of course meet awesome new people!!

My friends and I had a great time with Mandy at the show! From booking to meeting up she was communicative and friendly. We got a few options for shows we might want to see and see hung out with us afterwards for lunch. Mandy was a great conversation facilitator and pushed us to think differently about what we just saw while being open to different viewpoints.
