Descrizione
Arrivati al villaggio di Bran, sarete accolti e serviti con qualche bicchiere di vino rosso e palinca (brandy - bevanda tradizionale della Transilvania al 50% di alcol) accompagnati da alcuni snack e pretzel. Socializzerai con gli altri membri del nostro gruppo. Poi, di notte, nell'atmosfera di Halloween, si visita il castello, saremo accolti dal temuto principe Vlad Tepes (alias Dracula), nelle misteriose stanze del castello incontrerai principi e principesse che serviranno Dracula questa notte. Dopo la visita al castello, la vera festa di Halloween inizia nel giardino del castello, vicino al lago, in una grande tenda, con un DJ, musica emozionante, atmosfera di Halloween e sorprese che ti intratterranno fino alle 04:00 del mattino. The visits (Castle of Pelas, Castle of Dracula and Brasov) to the sites mentioned corresponded to expectations regarding the heritage, the decoration and the associated festivities. I do not recommend the visit organized by a bus agency, as it did not minimally correspond to what was expected. The guide Ariana, did not meet the departure time, 8h on 1/11. Delayed the exit 35 minutes without any explanation. He didn't explain anything during the trip. He gave no time to eat, no lunch, no snack. There were no stops to go to the bathroom. The guide was neither friendly nor accessible. Faced with a delay in the bathrooms was poorly polite and arrogant. We did not visit the city of Brasov, having given only 1 hour to eat, which is not entirely possible in a city with a lot of tourism. Arrival at destination was 3h late.
If I could give Traian 12 out of 10 stars I would. He was fabulous. Very gracious and a walking encyclopedia. It was just my husband and I and we visited Bran Castle, the Bear Sanctuary, and Rasnov Fortress. We saw that a different company visited a Palinca Distillery and requested that Traian take us there: he gladly did but it was a terrible stop and I understand why he doesn't normally include it! It was a long day but the drives were beautiful and Traian's knowledge really made what we'd seen on other tours make sense (like explaining the difference in the designs of the quaint villages hugging the roads). At Bran Castle he guided us all the way through with an impressive depth of knowledge. He knew the workers there and was helpful in directing the large crowds. He would hold back people so we could get photos. He even stopped to help a stranded woman in a wheelchair get to where she needed to go. He recommended an outdoor lunch restaurant near Bran Castle that was close but tucked away from the crowds and very relaxing with delicious food (perfect after the crazy crowds at Bran Castle). He drove a Mercedes van and had water bottles for us. We were connected with Discovery Transylvania at the last minute after our Viator-scheduled tour was canceled due to car problems and it was the best day of our trip. We highly recommend them!
We didn’t use the transportation as we were already in Bran, but the host made sure we stayed connected and got to the event. Even when we were leaving the host managed to spot us and ask if we were okay. Very safe and great experience.

I am a student studying abroad in Europe and I went with my friends. Castle was cool to see. Lots of traveling is required to get there but pretty worth it. Party is not inside the castle but in a tent outside of it. Party was good, good music and drinks.

We left an hour late waiting for others, we never heard the verbal tour because the guide gave it from the back of line while waiting to tour the castle. Was told the glass of wine was no longer offered because of COVID despite what the add stated. The ride back was denied. Guide changed the time from 4am to 3am, upon arriving at 3am, he said it wasn't leaving yet and if we wanted to go home, we had to pay for our own cab. So we did, mind you it was a 30min ride, cash only & driver had to use my phine for navigation
Hello, we take reveiws very seriously and I am sorry that your experience with us was a dissapointing one. Regarding the issues adressed I believe there was a missunderstaing on some things, I also made some mistakes that night but some of the things mentioned are exaggerate. We waited for exactly 30 min for the late arrivals thing for which I will take full blame, the glases of wine where promised to us by the castle as beeing part of the ticket and they where cancelled because of the pandemic and the high number of people. The ride back was never refused! You asked to leave earlier which was not possible as it was a shared group. We organised 2 departure times for the customers that wanted to leave earlier it was their choice. As for the departure time itself it was daylight saving time that changed the hour 4am became 3am. we explained this to everyone on the bus! We left 30min before the party ended there was nobody left in the party tent when we left. It is not our fault if the customer mistakes the daylight saving times! Again we are sorry for the bad experience you some of the issues mentioned are not our fault!
Don't waste your money. This tour is overpriced and not a value. Essentially you get a drive to and from the castle, and your tickets for entry into the party and the castle. That's it. There's no skip the line and with this group, yourive way layer than when they opened the lines for entry to the castle. So you will have to wait in a 1-2 hour line in the cold. This ticket was also supposed to include glasses of wine, which no one ever received. When we asked after we got on the bus to go home, the driver said they stopped doing it because of the pandemic. Then the tickets should not have included it in the description and been discounted. If you're interested in going to the castle and the party, you can purchase tickets directly through the castle's website. For this excursion to be worth the price, it should include a skip the line.
As the owner of the company I apologize if the event was not what you envisioned. But this is what we promised in the tour description transport to and from the castle, guided tour access to the party and a couple of glases of wine which where promised in the price of the entrance ticket and was canceled by the castle last minute because of the very large amount of people. We never said we stopped taking people home, this is not true we asked every customer what is the adress of their accommodation and we took most of the customers back to their accommodation. Skip the line was included non of our customer waited inline for the tickets! There was a second line that formed at the entrance into the castle because it was very busy but this is not something that we can control. We can refund the glases of wine. Again I am very sorry that the experience was not the one you envisioned.
This trip was very well organized! Claudiu was in contact with me personally immediately after booking and answered many of my initial questions/concerns. We were flying internationally just to attend this party and so it was important that it was well orchestrated, and it was! Instructions were clear for pick-up and drop-off, recommendations for nearby hotels, they added an additional pick-up/return for people who didn't want to stay until 4 AM...it was like clockwork! The party itself was amazing. We expected crowds and so waiting to access the castle wasn't unexpected but it took longer than we would have like. Thankfully the weather was pleasant! The castle was decorated well for Halloween and fit the theme well. The after party was just that - amazing music and costumes and everyone was friendly and wanted to share photo opportunities with each other. Getting drinks was a bit laborious because of the lines but again that's to be expected at large parties. Our favorite part of course was the attention we got for our costumes. At times we couldn't focus on the castle tour or dancing b/c we were inundated with photo requests. Hard to complain about since we put so much effort into it! My advice to anyone considering this tour is do it and don't spare the costume. We hired a makeup artist who was brilliant (in Brasov) and it paid off at the event! Highly recommend this tour and many thanks to Claudiu, Traian and Daria for keeping everything on track and making it easy!
Our tour guide was knowledgeable and the experience was once in a lifetime. However, we were given the option of choosing to leave at 1am or 4am as this was when the buses were leaving. This wasn’t mentioned on the website. I felt like I wasn’t ready to leave at 1 but didn’t want to stay until 4. The ‘skip the 3 hour queue’ benefit is bogus. We were made queue for approx 1.5 hours, if not more. The tour is not a guided tour and the entire time spent inside of Bran’s Castle was spent queuing. Slightly disappointing. Also - never found out anything more about those complimentary glasses of red wine.? Overall, it was an amazing experience and I am still glad that I did it but it can, without a doubt be improved. Especially with how expensive it is.
As we try and create the most enjoyable experience for all our customers we take review very seriously. Some of the customers left a 5 star review for the same trip so we are trying to find out where we can improve and solve issues like this. We’ve sent out messages to all of the customers 1 week before the event announcing all the information (including the 2 departure times). We included a second depature time as some customers wanted leave earlier. It was your choice to leave earlier with a Taxi. Skip the line was included, we skipped the line for the tickets if you remember you where given the bracelets at the very start and their was no waiting in line for the tickets. Because the castle was very busy and got clogged up a line formed when entering the castle (we don’t have control over how busy the castle gets or the number of people that attend the event). Regarding the complimentary glasses of wine they where promised to us by the castle and where canceled last minute because of the high number of people and because of the pandemic. We where in permanent touch with the customers providing information and solving different situations that arose during the night.
The tour of the castle was alright but the over all tour from start to finish was crazy. Our guides waited for people to show up even if they were a half hour late. This poor us all very behind schedule. We were supposed to have skip the line privileges but waited for an hour while our tour guide waited for more people. They couldn't figure out daylight savings so I paid for a cab. Never got the free glasses of wine as the bar had no wine. But the party was awesome. But I would book it differently next time. A lot of money for transportation and a tour. Could have don't it for much less.
We try to create the most enjoyable experience for all of the customers so we take reviews such as this very serious and try to learn so that mistakes never reappear. I am sorry that your experience was less enjoyable then expected. Some of the customers where late we left 20min behinde schedule that is true. We wrote to all the customers 1 week ahead of time to try and be there on time. As owner I would either face the consequences of the customers that would be left without transport or for the customers that had to wait for everybody to arrive. Skip the line was included! Non of pur customers had to wait in line for the tickets which we bought ahead of time. Because It was a busy night there where 2 lines one of them to buy the tickets and hich we skipped and the second which formed due to the fact the castle was overwhelmed by the amout of people. Had we waited for tickets it would have added at least 2 hours. Daylight was very clear we had only 2 customers that didn’t understand it was your choice to get a cab and leave earlier. We organized 2 return trips. The glasses of wine where promised by the castle and they where canceled last minute because of the large number of people that joined. As the owner of the comapny I apologize if the experience was not the one you imagined but the issues you mentioned where not in my control.
Please be sure to wear warm clothing because the wait to get into the castle can be long and chilly! I was only wearing my skeleton costume and I got really cold waiting. The wind will cut right through you.
