DMZ 2 ° tunnel, Pocheon Sky Bridge e tour delle cascate da Seul

Il 2° tunnel fu scoperto in un'area 13 km a nord di Cheorwon all'interno della DMZ il 19 marzo 1975. Come arco di roccia, ha 2,1 m di larghezza, 2 m di altezza, 3,5 km di lunghezza e si trova tra 50 e 160 m (160 e 520 piedi) sotto terra. Circa 30.000 soldati armati potevano infiltrarsi attraverso il tunnel in un'ora con veicoli, pezzi di artiglieria e persino carri armati. Per ora è possibile esplorare la lunghezza di 500 m del tunnel ed è accessibile fino alla linea limite meridionale più vicina. È possibile osservare la vegetazione lussureggiante vicino ai posti di guardia e agli avamposti generali della Corea del Sud contro i posti di guardia, Naktagoji e Kim Ilsung goji della Corea del Nord. Le origini dell'edificio non sono chiare, poiché i documenti indicano che fu costruito all'inizio del 1946, prima della fondazione del Partito dei Lavoratori della Corea del Nord (predecessore dell'attuale Partito dei Lavoratori di Corea).
Il secondo tunnel, realizzato dai nordcoreani per invadere la Corea del Sud, fu scoperto il 24 marzo 1975. Questo tunnel è lungo 3,5 chilometri e si trova a 50~160 metri sotto la superficie. Si estende rispettivamente per 1,1 chilometri e 2,4 chilometri nelle direzioni sud e nord. In tutta la sua lunghezza sono aperti al turismo solo 500 metri. All'interno del tunnel c'è una piazza dove radunare una grande forza militare. Il tunnel è diviso in 3 uscite. L'uso di questo tunnel consentirebbe il passaggio di trentamila forze armate e carri armati all'ora. Per ora, il tunnel è gestito come parte del Cheorwon Security Tourism Course e molti turisti visitano questa zona ogni anno.
Osservatorio della pace con tre piani e un seminterrato, inaugurato nel novembre 2007. Il primo piano è una sala espositiva e il secondo piano è un osservatorio, che consente ai turisti di osservare l'ecosistema, la fortezza della città del castello di Gung-Ye, l'altopiano di Pyeonggang e la città di Seonjeon della Corea del Nord nella DMZ. C'è anche un modello in miniatura prodotto con tecnologia all'avanguardia e un sistema di telescopi ultraprecisi, in modo che i turisti possano testimoniare e ascoltare la realtà della divisione nazionale.
Lo Sky Bridge, il rinomato ponte sospeso presente nel dramma Crash Landing on You, e goditi le viste mozzafiato del Geoparco di Hantangang.
Cascate di Bidulginang Il nome "Bidulginang" deriva dalla parola Coreano "nang", che significa "nido", ispirata alle centinaia di colombe bianche che un tempo nidificavano in una grotta dietro la cascata. Il 26 settembre 2012, l'amministrazione del patrimonio culturale ha designato la gola del basalto di Pocheon Hantangang e le cascate di Bidulginang come monumento naturale n. 537. Grazie alla sua splendida posizione e alla bellezza naturale unica, le cascate sono apparse anche in popolari K-dramma storici come I cacciatori di schiavi (Chuno), la regina Seondeok e il guerriero Baek Dong-soo.

An unforgettable experience! We were on a tour for around 7 hours, it was really convenient with all the stops on the go. The crowd wasn’t big, so everyone could enjoy.
