Epic day for my son and I. Best waves ever. We loved Alejandro and his son Diego. They were smiling and cheering as much as we were. Definitely going to surf with them again.

It was so fun! I went with my dad in the morning when the waves were massive. The two instructors were extremely kind, helpful, and full of excitement. We were able to catch many waves even while being beginners. The instructors were very friendly and helped make the experience magical. We’re definitely going back again!

Alex is the best surf teacher!!!! It really is the most! My children were delighted! And it has the best prices, we really recommend it 100% Thank you Alex you are the most!

What a fantastic experience. A family that wants to teach you what they love and work very hard to ensure you have a great experience. Alejandro, Oscar, and Diego put in the time and got 5 adults who have never surfed before catching multiple waves. It would not have happened without each of them working individually with us to line us up properly, teach us etiquette, help us time our paddling, and encourage us with each set of waves. They took pride in making sure we were enjoying ourselves and would walk away with a fantastic memory. Humble, encouraging, hard working...stop looking for a surf school and just book with these folks. You won't regret it.

Wonderful experience! Exceeded all our expectations. We did two days of surf lessons with Alejandro and Diego as well as a boat/snorkeling excursion and had the best time. Two of us had never surfed before and thanks to their amazing guidance, we all got up plenty of times. 10/10 recommend!

In Punta Mita, the best restaurants are not the ones advertised well. Same for the surfing schools. I have had the pleasure of surfing with Mita Adventures Surf School for over 5 years. Our son Thomas started at Anclote on a longboard and after multiple trips with Alex, he now surfs shortboard at an intermediate level on both shore and reef breaks in and around PM. Being an intermediate-advanced surfer, I went on another incredible trip with Alex outside of the Bay Monday 4/3/23 Not only did we score some fun waves, we had a great time stopping at a local bakery on the way and sightseeing south of PVR. Thursday 4/6/23, Alex took my son and I to a local beachbreak that usually works in winter. His knowledge of the area and ability to find waves never fails. We had an incredible session. What separates MIta Adven. school from others is their personal approach not only to lessons, but also to the whole experience of surfing. I enjoy talking with Alex, Alejandro, Diego, and Oscar because of their focus on family and getting to know their clients on a personal level. They are always honest and will not take you to a surf break if the conditions are not ideal. I have many relatives and friends that have received lessons from them and they never had had a bad experience. This includes trips snorkeling as well. Alejandro is an excellent longboarder, hiker, and mountain-biker. Diego is a phenomenal long-boarder and fisherman. Oscar is fantastic on a long and short board. Alex is one of the best surfers in PM in my opinion, but he is a better instructor and all his students are grateful he make a run for a professional career surfing. He is a fantastic teacher. All of them are respectful of others in the water and know everyone in the area. Please do yourself, family, and friends a favor and chose Mita Adventures Surf School. I promise you will not regret it. I own a vacation home in PM and do not need surf lessons, but I prefer to take trips with Alex and the rest all the time because of the experience. You will too, whether it is surfing, fishing, hiking, or mountain-biking.

Incredible day!!! Two girlfriends and I (all rookie surfers) spent the morning learning and having fun with these super fun, friendly guys. Highlight of our trip! Highly recommend!

I came to the area with friends, and had set up two days of surf guiding with Alex. He was super friendly, knowledgeable and showed us a great time!

My son and I spent the morning with Alex Jr. and Diego and had a great time. I am a beginner and they got me surfing in no time. Felt very safe and well cared for the whole time. My son who is more an intermediate level also had an awesome time perfecting his technique. What a lovely family company. Since you travel to the surf break in their boat, they have the ability to find the best conditions based on the weather. Highly recommend them. We will be back for sure !

My my wife and I took surf lessons from Alajandro Outstanding lessons my wife was surfing on the 1st wave. The best part is Alajandro and his 2 boys Alex and Diego treated us as friends and family. We rented boards for the entire week. They gave us great recommendations of local knowledge of hikes, surfing, food and boat trips. Can’t wait to go back to see them and surf.
