Descrizione
Phi phi and the magical Similan Islands on the other hand do not go to Big Buddha it is closed due to works
Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. Yes, both Phi Phi and the Similans offer some wonderful diving.
Mischa was a fantastic guide! He took photos + videos for us, pointed out stunning wildlife including hard-to-spot nudibranches, and refreshing us on gear. The diving scene was gorgeous. Food was yummy and plentiful. Highly recommend!
Hi Lucy, Glad to hear you had a good trip. We hope to see you again, Steven
This gets you diving if that’s all you want. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the transfer, despite giving the correct hotel they went to the wrong one and then reached out to me angry I wasn’t there and ready when I had been waiting for 20 mins in the correct spot. They apologized once they realized. The boat is absolutely PACKED with people don’t can be difficult to find a spot or use a bathroom. I had difficultly understanding the English of my dive master but my dive buddy was able to help me. All 3 dive sites looked exactly the same so that was disappointing, variety would have been nice and preferred. The food was good and there are multiple chances to eat, plenty of water, beer for purchase after the dive if you’d like. So if you’re looking to dive Phi Phi and don’t care what you see and don’t mind chaos this would totally work for you.
Hi Megan, Thanks for your comments. Yes, the transfers organisation can be quite stressful in the mornings. The driver was send to the incorrect accommodation, but we managed to correct it for you. You visited 3 complete different divesites, Koh Bida Nok, Turtle Rock and Shark Point. Sorry you saw them as very similar. Strange as that is, since the characteristics of the divesites are completely different, as are the things to see. On busy days it can be busy on board, but there's always plenty of space to sit down and relax. Enjoy your further diving endeavours.
Great dive guide and everyone on the boat was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks were all great as well
Hi Reginald, Glad to hear you enjoyed your trip. I'm also happy we changed your destination, Racha Noi and Racha Yai is the trip that offers the best diving at the moment.
Got our padi here with my friend! What a recommendation! Very good diving instructor, ekk! Had very nice days on the boat. When we come back to Phuket we will definitely dive here again! It was great!
Hoi Tess, Leuk om te horen, dank je wel. Hopelijk tot snel. Steven
I had planned to be going to the Philippines, but due to a Coronavirus travel ban that went into effect the day I was leaving the US, I instead found myself on a plane to Thailand with no idea where I was going or plans for when I got there. During my flight, I began my research so I would have a game plan when I landed in Bangkok. I came across Steven on the scubaboard forums, and he was extremely helpful in offering advice for my last second trip to the area. Because of this, I booked my land based diving through him and have no regrets. First off, if you don't know how the land based diving works, it's very unlike anywhere I've ever dove. Whomever you book your diving with, they basically book you on a cattle boat with 30-50 other divers. It sounds absolutely terrible, but, to be honest, it really wasn't. The boats are HUGE, have multiple levels, and most of them offer plenty of room to spread out. The dive deck can get a bit crowded right before everyone jumps in, but everyone is assigned a spot, and it's really not that bad at all. The dive op you book through will assign you a dive guide, and you will be with that dive guide for each dive on that trip. So, on any one of these huge boats, there will be people from several different dive ops. After six days of full day dive trips, I never saw a guide with more than 5 divers, though. Nearly all of them were 1-3, with a couple of 4's. Only once did I see a guide with 5. So, while there may be 40 divers on the boat, around 1/3 of them are guides. And, most dive sites are large and spread out enough so that everyone isn't on top of each other. The only times this became an issue is on wall dives, and understandably so, because... well... There's nowhere else for everyone to go. Very few of the dives were like that, though, so no worries. Anyway, now that I've explained how it works, here's why to book with Steven. Not only are his prices more than reasonable, but he will be sure you get what you are wanting out of the trip, and knows all of the various operations in the area like nobody else. He also went above and beyond on many occasions for me. After my last second destination pivot and travles, my head was apparently up my arse for a few days. One day, I somehow left my mask on one of the boats. He was able to get it from them and had it ready for me on the boat I was on the next morning. Forgot my dive watch in my room one day because I was charging it... No problem, as they provided a backup gauge for me. Anyway, long story short, if you're looking to do some diving in the area (They also do liveaboard stuff too), get in touch with them. You won't regret it. Thanks again for all your help Steven.

The dive master was great, food was great, and the sites were great. There were two negatives. First the boat did not turn up to our scheduled pick up after our first dive and we waited for 25 minutes on the surface waiting for the to arrive. Second, the tour organized a pre paid taxi for us after the dives but then the driver did t actually know where we were going so then when told insisted it must be 300 bhat more.

Great diving however the boat experience was not enjoyable. Overcrowded vessel and not the most conscientious fellow divers. It can get a little crowded.

One of the best experiences of my life. Beautiful island and great scuba diving excursion. I would go back tomorrow if I could.
