Faremo un tour di 2 per le strade e i vicoli del centro storico, edifici classici, piazze di straordinaria bellezza, chiese barocche e monumenti d'epoca romana...! Arte, storia, tradizioni...ma anche buon cibo! sarà un piacere offrirvi il nostro delizioso 'caffè leccese' in ghiaccio con estratto di mandorla e stuzzichini tipici. Lecce vi sorprenderà e questo tour sarà memorabile!

Meraviglioso esempio di piazza convertita in stile barocco, si apre davanti a noi come una quinta di un teatro, a sinistra il meraviglioso Campanile di fine '600 realizzato da Giuseppe Zimbalo svetta sulla piazza con la sua cupola maiolicata; al centro il Duomo con la sua facciata caratterizzata da una balaustra cui si affaccia la statua del protettore della città, Sant'Oronzo, ed adornata di fiori, angeli e punte lanceolate, sublime esempio di barocco fanzaghesco; l'Episcopio con il porticato a propilei mirabile opera di Emanuele Manieri; a destra il Palazzo del Seminario con il suo bugnato ed il suo barocco eclettico, opera di Giuseppe Cino. l’arena risalente al I sec. d.C. per metà riportata alla luce all’inizio dello scorso secolo, ammireremo l’imponente architettura della cavea, degli spalti, degli archi rampanti, del balteus, un gioiello nel cuore del centro storico di Lecce
Capolavoro mondiale dell'arte barocca, la sua sublime facciata è dedicata alla Battaglia di Lepanto, e rappresenta il trionfo ideale della mondo Cristiano ed Europeo occidentale; i decori sfarzosi e i molti simboli affascinano la vista ed innalzano la spiritualità ancora oggi. (Visita all'esterno)
Cuore della città, l'antica Piazza dei Mercadanti del '700 trova ancora i segni del suo passato legato all'influenza della Repubblica marinara di Venezia, con il palazzo del Sedile, sede di esposizioni e delle assemblee cittadine, e con la chiesetta attigua di San Marco; la piazza fiancheggia l'antico Anfiteatro Romano, svelato per metà, gemma incastonata fra palazzi barocchi, liberty, razionalisti, veneziani.

Lorenzo was very knowledgeable & enthusiastic with sharing his knowledge of Lecce. We enjoyed the tour immensely. Nice pace, not at all rushed & fun. We were a little late joining the tour but it was no problem. What l liked the most was it was very informative but not with loads of dates & names that you will never remember afterwards!! I would highly recommend you book this tour. Thank you so much for a wonderful morning Lorenzo ❤️ Oh and that Gelato 🍦
Our tour guide, Lorenzo, was great! He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and he shared the information with us in an entertaining manner so it was certainly never boring. I would highly recommend his tours.

We had a wonderful tour with our guide Lorenzo. He was well informed about the architecture and history of the many churches in the area and his passion for the subject clearly came through. He was very patient and responsive to our groups many question and just a lot of fun to spend time with. I would highly recommend this tour
Lorenzo is a star. He gave insights into the Baroque, Renaissance periods of Lecce's history, architecture, culture and was always considerate to make sure we could all hear his narrative. We also had a mid morning Leecese coffee (with almond milk) and typical Lecce snacks. It was an exceptional experience.
Lorenzo is a local and knew all the cities and introduced us to the famous local pastry. Warm friend and just a passion for his city and knows the art and history.
