La nostra parte preferita di questa esperienza è vedere gli occhi dei nuovi subacquei durante i primi respiri sott'acqua! È uno sguardo di stupore ed eccitazione e ci fa sempre sorridere. Siamo un'azienda a conduzione familiare gestita da un nativo di Cozumel e amiamo condividere le nostre cose preferite che l'isola ha da offrire. Il nostro motto al Cozumel Abyss Divers è "qualità, non quantità", quindi sperimenterai un ambiente per piccoli gruppi in cui riceverai molta attenzione dal tuo istruttore. Manteniamo un piccolo rapporto di non più di quattro* subacquei per istruttore e inoltre non abbiamo un numero minimo di sub per questa esperienza, quindi non annulleremo se sei l'unico! *Se hai un gruppo di più di quattro persone che desidera prenotare questa esperienza, contattaci in modo che possiamo avere un istruttore aggiuntivo pronto!

We spent two days diving with Jose as our private guide, and honestly, it simply couldn’t have been any better. Jose is an incredibly genuine and kind person, and on top of that, he has an unbelievable amount of diving experience. We felt comfortable and well taken care of at all times. Whenever we mentioned something we wanted to see—like nudibranchs—he immediately went looking for them and managed to find countless ones. He picked us up from our Airbnb every morning, making everything easy and stress-free. On top of being an outstanding dive guide, he also felt like our local guide on Cozumel. Every evening, he sent us recommendations for great restaurants and bars via WhatsApp. He even helped us at the pharmacy to make sure we bought the right medication. His wife, who was often in the car when he picked us up, was incredibly kind as well. She always asked how we were doing, how our dive day had been, and whether there was anything she could do to help. All in all, it genuinely doesn’t get any better than this. If I could, I would do every single dive—anywhere in the world—with Jose as my guide.
This was a great introduction to scuba diving for my teenagers. Jose went over the basic skills we had to accomplish before our dive. He explained things very well and was patient with us as we learned the necessary skills. We had a very good experience and felt very safe the entire time.

What an incredible experience! Jose taught me the skills I needed to know to feel comfortable and safe in the water. He was very knowledgeable and patient. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in a first time dive experience.

Just had an amazing week of diving with Jose from Cozumel Abyss Divers. We have lost count of the number of scuba diving trips we have taken with him and his team. This time they took care of 4 discovery, 2 refresh, 1 course of nitrox and ourselves in top of all of that! I am proud to refer new clients to him, confident that they will have an incredible, safe and memorable experience, without any doubt. I had a great experience with Jose using Fabio! Both are very attentive to detail and know how to adapt well to each person in the group. Wonderful week with Cozumel Abyss Divers and Jose Arosemena. We saw turtles, nurse shark, ocean triggerfish, frog fish and lots and lots of other things underwater. Incredible experience diving with Cozumel Abyss Divers!! Staff are extremely knowledgeable and experienced- with gear, managing large groups, to teaching skills. It was wonderful to witness the smiles of faces of successful open water candidates. Staff know the many lush beautiful dive sites Cozumel has to offer like the back of their hands. Know exactly where to experience unique wildlife, incredible swim throughs and manage the various natural elements. They are very professional and beyond accommodating to everyone’s requests and needs. Service is always provided with a smile and friendly banter on the boat rides makes it even more enjoyable! Oh and the yummy local snackies during surface intervals were always fresh and delicious! Diving with Cozumel Abyss is like diving with family!
