Il Parco Archeologico di Dion è il più importante sito archeologico del Monte Olimpo in Grecia, situato a Dion (greco: Δίον). Nell'area del Parco Archeologico di Dion sono stati rinvenuti santuari di epoca ellenistica e romana. Il parco mostra l'importanza dell'antica Dion nella storia di Pieria.
Il Monastero di Agios Dionysios nell'Olimpo è un monastero greco-ortodosso alle pendici del Monte Olimpo, il monastero più importante della Prefettura di Pieria. Si trova presso la gola Enipeas a un'altitudine di 850 m. Il monastero originario, fondato nel 1542, fu distrutto dai tedeschi nel 1943. Nelle vicinanze si trova la grotta di San Dionisio.
Enipeas, il fiume che attraversa i fianchi del Monte Olimpo e fornisce quest'acqua sacra e una favolosa interazione di piscine e cascate fino a Litochoro!

We were very excited to take this tour, but unfortunately it was canceled by the tour operator less than 48 hours before the scheduled departure. The initial reason provided was “low availability,” though we later learned that the driver had been involved in a car accident and no replacement was available. While we understand that unexpected situations can arise, the last-minute cancellation was disappointing, especially since tour options in Thessaloniki were limited and it left us without time to make alternative plans. We were looking forward to this experience and were sorry to miss it.

The Mercedes is extremely comfortable and Janny is a great driver and Gina provided insights to the area. We were blessed with sunshine half way thru the tour. The waterfall hike and a discussion with greek priest were very memorable and spiritual! Highly recommend f 9r a personal journey!
