Devdan Show al Teatro Nusa Dua di Bali

Excellent performance throughout the show.All major traditional dances of Indonesia were enacted.There is a short story woven through which these dances are performed. A couple danced in the air just hanging from cloth strips hanging from the ceiling which they wound around their wrists. This dance was mesmerizing. A few comedy sequences as breaks with the artists dressed as monkeys was enjoyed by all, specially the kids in the auditorium. The theatre itself was excellent with great airconditiong, comfortable seats, we were sitting at E26 and E27, centre stage and near, I would say the best seats in the auditorium. No mosquitoes anywhere. This is must see experience for Bali.

We enjoyed the Devdan Show at Bali Nusa Dua Theatre and would rate the overall experience about 8/10. We purchased VIP tickets, which included hotel pickup, but our hotel was outside the shuttle pickup zone. That ended up being no problem—we simply took a Grab to the theatre and it was easy and convenient. One thing worth knowing in advance: even if you receive QR-code tickets through TripAdvisor, you still need to stop at the box office to pick up physical tickets before entering. The show itself was colorful, energetic, and visually impressive, and the dancers are clearly very talented. Our VIP seats were in the first row, although the view was slightly obstructed at times, which was a little surprising given the ticket category. The VIP lounge was a nice touch and made the experience feel a bit more special before the show. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening and a good introduction to different elements of Indonesian culture through music, dance, costumes, and performance. 8/10.

This was a great experience. The show was colourful, lively, acrobatic and thoroughly entertaining, with touches of slapstick and humour throughout. I also found it surprisingly educational. After seeing it, I felt I understood much more of what I was noticing around Bali from a cultural point of view. I’d recommend seeing it earlier in your stay rather than later. The price was excellent, and the 75‑minute performance moved at a perfect pace. It never dragged and felt exactly the right length. Given how good the show is, it was surprising that only about a third of the theatre was occupied. It deserves to be sold out every night. We bought “C” tickets, which meant seating on a wing rather than in the central section, but the stage is so large that this didn’t matter at all. The chairs are the same whether you purchase “A”, “B”, or “C” tickets (VIP tickets get a recliner). The main benefit of “A” and “B” tickets is the included transport to and from the theatre; very handy if your accommodation isn’t close by, though ours was.

This unique experience was far more enjoyable than i had expected, filled with surprises and fun that had me in absolute awe of the beautiful balinese culture. Highly skilled dancers, actors and stage crew delivered jaw dropping performances, laughter and tears. Loved every minute! Thank you

Fantastic show of a high technical and artistic level that takes you on a discovery of the different faces of Indonesia (Bali, Java, Sumatra, etc.) - A kind of Cirque du Soleil with a Balinese twist, featuring acrobats, dancers, and breathtaking performances. Recommended. They even come to pick you up at hotels in the Nusa Dua area.

Fun show especially for kids. Venue was comfortable

We attended theDevdan show in June 2026. We were picked up from our hotel and arrived at the theatre with time to spare. The theatre was in good condition and the staff were friendly. Initially I thought the show was not going to be great as it seemed for want of a better term unprofessional. I was surprised though as once the show got going it was very good. It is a great insight into the culture of Indonesia and Bali in particular. The performers were great and it moved at a good pace. The show went for a little over an hour and I highly recommend.

Excellent show a must to see when in Bali. Be careful if you are in Australia. The quotes on Tripadvisor are in US dollars

We very much enjoyed our evening. It was well organised. We were picked up from our hotel at the time slot that we were informed about. The show was fantastic. We had prime seats sitting at the front. We really enjoyed learning more about Indonesia's culture and it was done nicely combined into a story with some jokes along the way as well. The acrobats were amazing, too. It was a very enjoyable evening. Can highly recommend it. And very affordable as well.
