Il tour copre l'era dei diritti civili, Free Derry Corner, Battle of the Bogside, Bloody Sunday, Peace Process e Bogside Murals. Questo tour inizia fuori dal Museum of Free Derry. Our guide, John, is a family member of one of the young men killed on Bloody Sunday. He has been advocating for justice and accountability for decades and shares the history through stories. Highly recommend both the tour and the museum. Super relevant for the times we are living in.
Very leisurely and informative
Absolutely superb! This gave me a much better understanding of Derry and Northern Ireland’s history than I have even managed to obtain before. Well worth the money, and a very powerful experience.
It was a cool, rainy day, but our guide did a fantastic job. He was thorough and detail oriented. He did not rush the tour because of the drizzle and mist and that was appreciated. The tour was a good experience and gave us a deeper perspective into the area and the Troubles.
Our Guide provided a great chronological history of the Troubles and also personal experiences from that time.
Perfect tour and a guide who spoke from experience with a lot of emotion Jimmy toye
A fantastic historical, social and political inside into the Bloody Sunday story. John added a very personal dimension to what is a painful but life affirming story.
Very informative to the subject of Bloody Sunday Great tour guide he was very knowledgeable
The tour was presented by the brother of one of the Bloody Sunday victims. He spoke with clarity, facts, and gave us a clear picture of what led up to the event, what happened that day, and the continued work for justice. He was humble and very relatable. It felt safe to ask questions. I would recommend this tour.
Our guide, the wonderful Mickey was just so knowledgeable and told us all about Bloody Sunday, having lived through it. This was the best tour we did in Northern Ireland. It didn't always make easy listening but we both have a far greater understanding of what happen on this day. Thank you Mickey so much.
