I booked the Dendera and Abydos day trip with Fares Egypt Tours, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our time in Egypt I’m so happy we chose this company because everything was very well organized from start to finish A special thanks to Hany, our guide, who was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history of each temple in perfect English He made the experience both interesting and enjoyable Our driver, Oscar was also excellent friendly, professional, and made us feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey The car was clean and comfortable, and they provided complimentary mineral water and snacks, which was a thoughtful touch Their professionalism and attention to detail really stood out and it was clear they know exactly what they’re doing I highly recommend Fares Egypt Tours to anyone looking for a memorable and stress free experience in Egypt
The start of the excursion was bumpy. I had booked a full package but the operator kept confusing that I had a smaller package. Then my guide jumped in and spoke with the owner (language barrier here). The owner of the tour was then understanding and helped fix the issue. We lost 45 minutes at Dendera because of this issue but after that Hany’s excellent work helped make the day better. Hany is an excellent guide I used 5 different guides via 5 different agencies across Egypt and he was the best. His knowledge is thorough and he just doesn’t state facts, he modulates and enacts and is very passionate about Egyptian history. As a fan of Egyptian history, that level of knowledge and passion elevates the trip to a great extent! I did not feel hurried and we finished the tour on time. If you’re booking via this agency, make sure you insist on Hany as the guide. That will elevate your experience. It’s 4 and not 5 stars because of the chaos at the start of the trip. All the other 4 stars go to Hany!

Mohamed drove us from Hurghada to Luxor and then onwards to Cairo. Always felt safe, very comfortable in the car and would definitely use him again!
