Rating company provided all gear for comfortable safe trip. Brianna was a fine guide. Low key oar trip on small rapids. Recommend for seniors. A beautiful way to experience the country.

My husband and I had a fantastic time on our rafting excursion in Denali National Park! We chose the Class II-III option, which turned out to be more of a scenic float with a few fun rapids rather than an adrenaline-filled adventure. It was a great way to take in Denali’s beautiful scenery while enjoying time on the river. Our guides were absolutely hilarious and kept everyone laughing from start to finish. Their energy, knowledge, and storytelling made the entire trip incredibly memorable and were a huge part of why we enjoyed it so much. If you’re trying to decide between the two rafting options, it really comes down to your adventure level. The Class II-III trip is perfect if you’re looking for a more relaxed, scenic experience. On this excursion, the guide does all the rowing, so you can sit back, enjoy the views, and take in the beauty of Denali. If you’re looking for a more exciting, hands-on rafting experience, I’d recommend choosing the Class III-IV trip instead. We had such a great time that we’d absolutely come back—and next time we’ll definitely opt for the Class III-IV rapids for a little more excitement! They supplied a wetsuit, PFD (life jacket), helmet, and river shoes. The only thing not included was gloves, but they had them available for purchase, or you can simply bring your own. Overall, this was a wonderful excursion with an outstanding guide team, beautiful scenery, and a well-organized operation. Whether you’re looking for a peaceful float or a bigger adrenaline rush, they have an option for you. We’d definitely recommend it!

We had a fantastic experience with New Wave Adventures in Denali! The staff was outstanding from start to finish. They took the time to make sure everyone's wetsuit fit properly, and there were plenty of staff members available to help, which made us feel safe and well cared for. The bus ride to the river was comfortable, and our guide gave an excellent safety briefing before we got on the water. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—the views along the river were beautiful and made the trip even more memorable. Our rafting guide was exceptional. With 35 years of rafting experience, it was clear we were in capable hands. He was knowledgeable, professional, and made the adventure both fun and safe. Jake was our guide and he was AWESOME! We had a great experience especially being our 1st visit to Alaska! We had ages 13-50 in our group and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to really see Alaska!

Very fun float trip on the Nenana River. Our guide Tupelo did all of the oar work while having a great conversation with us. Tupelo is an expert guide and maneuvered the raft so we could get great photos. Beautiful scenery and very relaxing.

Our rafting trip with Mike from New Wave Adventures was absolutely amazing! Mike is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and has a fantastic sense of humor that made the entire experience both enjoyable and entertaining. He shared fascinating information about the area, wildlife, and local history while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and fun. The scenery was simply breathtaking , the views are truly to die for and made the trip even more special. I enjoyed the experience so much that I signed up for another rafting tour the very next day! We had a great time with Brianna. She took good care of our 5 year old on the Wilderness Rafting trip. We stayed at the princess wilderness lodge. Pickup from the hotel and return was super convenient. Great time and gorgeous scenery.
