Molto prima che arrivassero i prodotti moderni, le famiglie usavano l'olio di cocco per detergere, lenire e proteggere la pelle. In questa esperienza, vedrai come il sapone tradizionale a freddo è fatto di olio di cocco puro - proprio come lo era nelle antiche comunità isolane. Il sapone di cocco è delicato, naturalmente antibatterico e profondamente idratante. È un rimedio testato nel tempo per la pelle secca, l'esposizione al sole e la pulizia quotidiana. Guardarlo prendere vita – dal petrolio alla barretta – è sia calmante che accattivante. Such a beautiful Store! We we‘re warmly greeted and even could make our own tea with flowers and everything. The workshop was really interesting and you could see that the people actually like what they are doing. They were all so nice and the products are very great too. They are all handmade and have great quality. This really is a must visit!
It was one of the most wonderful experiences we've had on Koh Samui! We learned about the history and science of soap making and were also able to participate in the soap making process. The guide was one of the nicest people and the tea alone was a wonderful experience. From beginning to end it was so much better than expected and I can only highly recommend it!!
What a great experience! My sister and I saw this in booking.com and thought this sounds super interesting. We were welcomed into the shop with a nice cup of tea and then the demonstration started. Mike is super knowledgeable and explained all the steps into making soap and what makes a good soap and what not. We had a fun time here looking at all the soaps, serums, essentials oils and crystals they have in the shop as well. Best to walk into the shop and ask for a demo rather than booking online :)
Very lovely shop! The tour of the dope making process was very informative and also interactive. A hand on experience into the culture of soap making and the reasons behind it. Additionally all the staff were very welcoming and friendly! Definitely recommend!
We had a really good experience here, learnt a lot about the soap making process and about the different ingredients, when we arrived we were greeted and offered tea which was a nice touch, the let us mix the soap and cut soap as well! Really nice place and would recommend, not only for the tour but the products they have to offer!
This was a great activity - we learned how the coconut soap is made, and got to cut soap blocks and mix freshly made soap. Mikey was a delightful host, he treated us to floral tea and explained the science behind the process. Great little store with homemade products to browse after the demo.
