We had a great Delhi Shopping Tour. The tour guide Rohan was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful in explaining the markets which made shopping easy and enjoyable. Our driver Sonu was polite and professional and the drive was safe and comfortable. Overall the tour was well organized and a good way to explore Delhi’s shopping areas. Highly recommended
Spent way too much money but the quality of the merchandise was very good for the price. Guide and driver were very nice. It was worth the trip.
Great day of shopping! I had wanted some unique bracelets. Not only did the Batth family have a great selection, offered saffron tra and cookies and received education on rugs. Another location had a great selection of material I was looking for as well as handicrafts. Tons to choose from! Topped off by a market (seriously. Ladurie macaroni from Paris) and a stop by Delhi's stepwell. Full day Great fun. Answered all my crazy questions.. and bought a carpet too! Highly recommend!
I have used Viator before and never had any issues. I wasn’t sure how to even make them aware of how this trip turned out, so I’m leaving it here. We were picked up by someone and drove for two hours for a shopping experience. But somewhere along the way we picked up a second person that the driver said was our tour guide. We requested to go by a bank to exchange money and then to get something to eat on the way to buy some jewelry and knickknacks. We were taking directly to a place where no other shoppers were and given this scam of a display about buying $3000 rugs. They put so much pressure on us and did not want to take no for an answer. We did finally get them to take us back to the hotel, which was another 2 Hour Dr., never bought anything. We never went to the bank or to get food or to do anything we were requested. It was very uncomfortable.
Had a great morning - visited some nice emporiums (emporia?) of Indian specialties- pashminas, kurti, carpets etc and then visited a local shopping area which had some lovely shops and a more relaxed vibe than some of the other markets. Excellent guide too!
This is false advertising. No spice markets ,as pictured. Just a ' how we make a persian rug and please buy one ' shop then an overpriced trinket and pashmina shop. Nothing like the sales pitch description.
Saif very friendly easy to understand informative and polite easy to get along with and helpful helped us find a chemist
Saif was a fabulous guide. He was very knowledgeable - we had Indian culture and history lessons along the way. He also stopped to meet the needs of the people on the tour. Carpet experience was very informative
I had an amazing trip with Ravaan. I enjoyed visiting the markets, shopped and loved tasting the local foods. I would definitely recommend the tour
This tour was amazing! Everything was so well-planned, and we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Each market had its own charm - Connaught Place was classy, Janpath was vibrant, and Chandni Chowk was full of life with its bustling streets and delicious street food. We ended the day at Dilli Haat, which was the perfect spot for unique crafts and great food. Our guide was friendly and knew exactly where to take us, and the driver made it all so easy. It felt like a fun, stress-free way to explore Delhi’s markets
