Great experience for good and authentic wine away from the mainstream. Small cozy group and a very nice guide!
What a pleasure Giulia was. She gave a lovely, laid back tour. Then in the vine it was the most beautiful place with incredibly friendly and knowledgeable people. All-in-all we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend.
Very small winery. Driver picked up 8 people and did not speak one word to us the whole way. Got to the winery - Julia was knowledgeable but the tour was about 1/2 hour. Wine tasting and food served in the winery was lovely but no interaction from anyone at the winery and we were left to our own devices for 2.5 hours. Way to long to be sitting doing nothing. Luckily we had lovely people in our group and we had a nice time chatting. This tour could be 2-3 hours max. And half the price. It was too much money for what we got.
Ciao Manuel! I am very sorry you had this experience: our philosophy is to give you a relaxing afternoon but always mixed with some informations about the wine and the history. We really like to leave you the time to enjoy so we don’t want to rush anyone. Anyway, we will take your advices and will be happy to improve this aspects :)
Tomas turned up on time at the pick up point in a nice van. He introduced himself to all the customers and was very informative about the trip. His driving was calm and safe while he talked us through the local viniculture history. We arrived at the vineyard after about 30minutes and he walked us up through the farm to the main buildings. There he handed over to a lovely lady who talked us through the the history of the nine yard and showed us around the production area. We then went out to a lovely spot amongst the vines for the wine tasting and delicious food all made on the farm or from the local area. A safe journey back to Pisa followed. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend Tomas as a guide. Thanks from Radar and Lilly
Wonderful trip, great host and beautiful family run vineyard.
Nice wine tasting and learning Great views, and unforgettable experience friends and I had a blast time. Thanks Rafael
Wine was definitely wine. Loved the food/snacks. The guide was one of the best I've had, and I will return because of him alone.
Raffaele was our tour guidefor a small group. The drive to and from the vineyard was full of information on the history of Lucca. At the vineyard we were given a tour with an explanation on how the local wine are made. The wine tasting was very good. After we sampled various wines, we spoke about the different wines and how region wine can differ globally. Very welcoming like visiting a good friend. There was no real push to buy anything extra. I did opt to buy some wine. There were also other items that were grown on the vineyard for purchase. My favorite part was speaking on how wine pairs with food and how wines change the tastes of food when cooking with it. I rate things based on if I felt something was worth what I paid. I do not drink wine, but felt it was worth the experience. 10/10 would go again.
What a wonderful trip. We were picked up by Tommaso and driven to the family run vineyard with good conversations with the other couple who were also on the tour. The wine was delicious and organic, and all the food we ate was locally sourced. We had a really great day and would recommend it if you are in Pisa. Thank you Tommaso 😊 Maxine & Philippa
The vineyard was beautiful with delicious wines. Our driver Marco from Autoservizi DBTuscany went above and beyond!
