Guidata da un'appassionata Guida locale, questa esperienza trasforma una semplice passeggiata in un viaggio attraverso le regioni del Brasile, dall'Amazzonia alla costa atlantica, attraverso frutti che probabilmente non hai mai visto prima. Assaggia, tocca e impara a conoscere 15-20 frutti esotici mentre la tua Guida te li apre tutti da provare: dalla pitanga e mela anacardio all'audace cupuaçu e jabuticaba. Tra una degustazione e l'altra, ascolterai storie su come questi frutti hanno plasmato la cultura, la cucina e il folklore brasiliano. Scoprirai anche come i locali li usano in succhi, dessert e cocktail, mentre raccogli divertenti consigli per riconoscerli e sceglierli come un vero carioca. A very fun experience and we were able to try so many new fruits!
Great tour and the guide is very knowledgeable. She walked us through the market and introduced us different special fruits in Brazil. After the introduction, we sat around tables and had the fruit tasting. The guide is well-prepared with knife, cutting board, spoons, etc.

We had a wonderful time with Erika learning about all of the unique foods and specialties of Brasil! She was very informative and explained each dish. All of them were very good, especially the cheese bread, picanha, and all of the fruit! Thank you so much for your hospitality!

First we definitely want to thank the tour company for their flexibility, we came down with a case of traveler’s flu and they were very accommodating in rescheduling us Our guide Pedro was super knowledgeable of local fruits and was able to make comparisons to things we were familiar with in the US. He was patient and enthusiastic with answering our questions, and even acted as a translator so we could converse with the merchants and locals (a sweet grandma came up and wanted to tell us how she prepared the type of avocado we were sampling for breakfast). In general he got us as many samples of whatever we were interested in as we wanted, we left full! After the tour he recommended/ brought us to a place to sit and enjoy the morning In hindsight it’s probably obvious, but a fruit tour can be messy! Pedro came prepared with water, trash bags, napkins so we were clean and comfortable the whole tour Overall Pedro was a gem, we’d definitely recommend him to anyone interested in exploring the produce of Brazil!
