Very nice and well-kept cellar, well done guided tour. Excellent food and wine tasting, well organized and with high quality products... really super Amarone risotto. Wines of excellent quality.... Of course. Highly recommended
Amazing experience, amazing wines. Our guide felt like a part of our group and was so friendly and knowledgeable.
Very nice, modern and very well organized winery, with a lot, a lot of history behind it. The visit. interesting, was very well organized and equally guided. The tasting then lived up to expectations: 6 different wines with excellent cheeses and cold cuts from the area.... and finally a superlative risotto all'amarone. Good, good... Thank you Farina Family, keep it up!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Farina winery. The facility is beautifully maintained and the tour mixed learning about the winery’s history with art and interesting stories. The wine itself was well worth the visit, and very reasonably priced. I can’t recommend this experience enough. A special thank you to Nicole for her excellent tour and spending time chatting with us.
We spent a few days in Elgin/Sonoita and had such a lovely time. All the wineries except Flying Leap were friendly, accomodating and quite eager to share info about the area, their wines and history of the region. The Flying Leap person was rude and abrupt so we left and went to Twisted Union, which was a completely amazing and tasty experience. Bought a few bottle of their wine and even joined their club. Hops and Vines were also a unique and bright spot of wine, art and music. We spent a couple days tasting, buying wine for home and just enjoying the great air, views, nightime sky and various barn cats (we stayed in a very cool cottage called Starry Night). No internet (how lovely) and a couple days away from the news, work and everything else. Can't wait to go again.
Travelled by bus (103) from Verona centre for my wife's birthday treat. Although out of season, it was great fun. Our Tour Guide was really friendly, knowledgeable, and made our experience really great fun. Good value, lovely wine, and a great day out.
Friendly and welcoming staff and lovely atmosphere! Knowledgable guide with lots of opportunities to ask questions on the tour even though it was out of season. Amazing facilities and lovely to see the old/traditional side alongside ultra modern facilities. Chance to try 6 wines with meats and cheese. The tour was good value for the price. The wine to buy is also a reasonable price with no pressure to purchase. Easy to get to from Verona by car or we went on the bus 103.
A great afternoon out! It was super easy to get to on the bus from Verona. The wine was delicious and the meat and cheese pairings were great! Could not recommend more!
The guided tour lasts about two, is clear and with adequate timing. Tasting in a comfortable environment with excellent wines and guidance carried out by a competent oenologist. Satisfied!! We will definitely return..
Nice tour even though it got a bit delayed, but we got some wine while we were waiting. The tasting was interesting and we got enough of each wine. Good value for the money. Easy to take the bus from Verona too.
